As she has been started on chemotherapy, her immunity will come down. Means her body's power to fight against infection is down thats why she is getting recurrent infection. But no need to worry, just give her nutritious food and treat the infections accordingly.

There is no such thing as best chemotherapy. The oncologist first evaluates whether the cancer is in early stage or late. In early stages we can do surgery. In late stages, the patients general condition will be assessed and something called as receptor status is studied. Based on these the further chemotherapy is planned which is ideally suited for his general condition and his tumour type.

Hello Mr. Your mother has been treated appropriately as per the guidelines. There are no medicines to avoid recurrence. She just needs to have a healthy diet, moderate exercise and most importantly a regular follow up and clinical evaluation by her treating oncologist. That is the way ca cervix is handled. Good luck!
