Morning stiffness and neck pain can be explained by cervical muscle spasm, or cervical spondylosis. X-ray and Mri are good option. I would suggest that you should consult pain clinic near by who will be good in diagnosis and treatment if such chronic pain conditions.

The commonest cause is cervical muscle spasm and trigger points. The pain may radiates to areas you mentioned. But occasionally it may be other issues in neck and face. You need examination by pain specialist in your city so they can pin point your cause of pain and treat accordingly.
