muscle cramps can be relieved by medicine or electrotherapy treatment. It could be because of low calcium diet or minerals, anti-oxidents, vitamins. Avoid spicy junk food. Take nutritional diet with vegetables and salad. Add fruit or fresh fruit juice, coconut, vitamin c reach fruits amla, orange, lemon, papaya etc. Plenty of water daily and start light smooth exercises of back and legs. Self stretching exercises of calf muscle with in comfort level.

It could be due to plantar fasciitis. Please do plantar fascia stretching exercises, along with exercises to stretch the calf muscles. These can be got from the internet. Please use soft insoled, pressure distributing footwear always. This will give you pain relief.
