Dear Lybrate user,
you should take IOPA/RVG for be sure that actually root is calcified or not. If root is calcified you should extract the tooth. Because it will cause you problem in future.

Well. Contiflo contains tamsulosin an alpha blocker. It is used routinely for benign hyperplasia of prostate. It has a role in lower ureteric stones and ureterovesical junction stones as it helps to evacuate them. However in a kidney stone it does not have much role. Your stone size is very small. Take lots of fluids and exercise. You can try cystone tabs. However I don't think contiflo has much role in kidney stones as such. Regards.

Having a 9 mm stone in the ureter is definitely not similar to a 9 mm stone in the gall bladder. In all probability, the uretric stone will cause uretric colic pain which can be severe, it may cause blood in urine, it may cause back pressure to the kidneys, and it usually needs to be removed. Not so for a gall bladder stone of similar size.

Endoscopic Surgery in the form of URS, RIRS or PCNL would be the best option for your problem. Depends on the location of stone whether in upper or lower ureter.

It looks a calculus (stone) in the ureter which is the tube connecting kidney and bladder. Drink plenty of water. For medications you can consult me online. Also share your complete USG report.
