I had intercourse on 19 may and I had red blood bleeding during intercourse time please note that 19th may was also my last day of period. My period started was from 13th may-19th may. During intercourse I felt uncomfortable pain and on 2nd round he was not erect and the condom got stuck inside me for 30 mins. Later on I pulled out the condom by douche. Now, I have been seeing light bloody discharge from vagina for past 10 days. I did urine pregnancy tests 3 times and it is all negative. I have never had bleeding like this after period ended. Consulted a doctor who suggested me to take sysron for 20 days twice daily and doxy antibiotic for 10 days twice daily. After taking sysron n, the bloody vaginal discharge has stopped. My doctor has suggested a trans vaginal ultra sound. And she said if I stop taking sysron n before 20 days, my bloody discharge will start again. I am confused. My next menstrual period is due on 17th june. My periods are more or less regular and not painful. I am sure I am not pregnant since he did not cum and tests came negative. I am scared about taking sysron n and doing tvs since its the first time it is happening. Doctor also suggested to do tsh and complete blood test. Please suggest.

The sysron shouldn't be stopped as stopping it in between can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding. If you don't want tests now, wait for your next period. If problem recurrs then do the tests otherwise no need.

Most of such problems are due to recurrent infection by the susceptible bacteria/virus/ skin parasites and then allergic process etc ---low immune status ; lack of environmental hygiene and personal hygiene etc. Are risk factors --kindly try to improve the above factors and if infection recurs--take treatment at the initial stage of the problems itself.

If youve gone through menopause, you should nt have any menstrual bleeding. Menopause means you havent had a period in at least one year.
If you have any bleeding -- even if its only spotting -- you should see a doctor. Theyll want to rule out serious causes. Like vaginal dryness, polyp,or may be carcinoma. You should visit to gynaecologist and after some test or local examination real cause should be rule out.

There might be some injury.
Give some rest and it will heal.
And look for if your periods are happening in time or are irregular.
If you feel anymore discomfort, then contact me, or contact your nearby gynaecologist.
