I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Ptosis is more common in older adults. It happens when the levator muscle, which holds up your eyelid, stretches or detaches from the eyelid, causing it to droop. It causes the appearance of asymmetrical eyes, so one eye looks lower than the other. In some people ptosis affects both eyes. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hello. Recovery in bell’a palsy has a very long curve. It is good to know that you have recovered 90 % already, but kindly consider physiotherapy and nerve stimulation therapies for the residual palsy which is causing all this asymmetry. Consult online for further queries and guidance for the same. Hope this helps. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Thank you.

I am 46 years old female. I had been on steroids treatment for bells palsy. The medication stopped 1 month ago. But for the past 15 days there has been bleeding. Is it because I am near menopause. Can it be stopped?

My 3 year old son developed bells palsy on 22nd may, one month after an injury on forehead. Conventional treatment with prednisolone and acyclovir did not improve the condition. Some improvement was seen after starting physiotherapy. Today he is only 50% recovered with no improvement since the past 2 months. Is there any treatment?

You can restart you previous medication with proper consulation. Facial palsy usually recovers with time. U might need to continue the facial muscle exercises. I ver rare occasions ther can reoccur. By the way have done any nerve conduction studies of facial nerve and blink refkex. They sometimes used to predict the prognosis.
