Poor oral hygiene – if you don't brush and floss regularly, the result can be teeth and gum problems such as gingivitis, periodontitis and tooth infection. These infections can be cleared up with a prescription from your dentist. The metal taste typically goes away after the infection is gone.
Mercurius solubilis (merc. Sol) is a commonly used homoeopathic remedy for mouth-throat infections, catarrh, eye, ear infections, and fever.

Dear user, do mouth wash after each meal with mouth wash solutions available in the market. Practice brushing your teeth twice daily. Make sure you don’t eat after brushing in the night because bacterias get ample time to multiply. Also look for any dental caries or gingivitis, or is there any regurgitation of food back in throat. Thank you, have a good day.

Sir, I am suffering from bad mouth smell from my childhood. The smell restarts again even after I brush every time. After waking up of any sleep, if I spit out then it comes like light mixing of olden days colgate white tooth powder and clearly I feel the sense of something is applied on all over my teeth. Moreover, I had a small lymph gland on right side of thorat until 25 years. After it disappeared itself also I was very stout at the age of 4 years old and consuming more food. If small disturbance happened at night, then I waked up, asked food at that mid night also. Then my mother bought me to a doctor. He gave some oral drops syrup. After consuming it, very next day itself I had taken very very little food from that day onwards. Agin we went to that doctor but he told that who will give that syrup. According to villagers, some times his mental condition is not sound. I am thinking that this may be also a reason as any digestive related issues. After that gradually I became lean.

Hi, infections or chronic inflammation in the nose, sinuses or throat, which can contribute to postnasal drip, also can cause bad breath. Other causes. Diseases, such as some cancers, and conditions such as metabolic disorders, can cause a distinctive breath odor as a result of chemicals they produce.
So ,kindly consult a general or ent surgeon to evaluate further.
