Is your father having the same swelling previously before the extraction of the tooth? Or the swelling occurred after the extraction? Some times traumatic extractions might result in swelling and also due to injections I wanted to see the photographs if possible or else the patient on video call if possible for suggesting the best treatment.

hii Rachelle....can you share some pics of that teeth which is going for extraction...with the gums region and face region... sometimes swelling comes due to increased infection or tissue response..and sometimes due to allergic reaction...share the pic so it will be easier to guide you better
