Hello.
Sevista contains ormeloxifene which in majority of women causes amenorrhea.
However it is very in treatment of mastalgia.
Please do not worry. Amenorrhea following sevista is variable, however in majority of women, it returns in 4 to 6 weeks following stopping the drug.
You just need to wait and watch, your period will return.

YES it's important to get a breast examination .what's your wife's age.in young women an ultrasound of breast would be required and in women over 40 years. A breast mammogram. This test along with lymph node needle test .or FNAC will be required. There exists a multiple infectious as well as possibility of other diseases including malignancy. You needs a proper evaluation by a breast surgeon, which entails a history and clinical examination with a mammography and an ultrasound if not done already. Mammography gives an idea about the whole breast and Opposite Breast. Have you been operated for the breast cancer or on neoadjuvant chemotherapy for the same. If not, please show to a Breast Surgeon or a Surgical oncologist. They will examine you and ask for a mammogram and ultrasound with core biopsy. The core Biopsy gives the type of cancer, the grade of cancer and the IHC i.e. ER/ PR/Her 2 status. If large tumor or locally advanced cancer, they may ask for metastatic work up like PET CT scan or CECT Scan.

You need to show your mother to a breast surgeon/oncologist. She will require a biopsy as the reports suggest breast cancer. She will also require a staging work up. As per the use it is early disease in which case after staging to rule out that the cancer has not spread anywhere she will require surgery.
