Smoking is definitely very dangerous habit. Due to smoking, mouth, throat, lungs, heart, brain and mind related disorders, diseases and cancer could result. Quitting smoking is no child's play and it takes time and courage. Best method is to completely quit today (now) and sustain with the help of your mind power. Mind power building therapy, motivation therapy should help you doing so.

Quitting smoking does not lead to LVH, it can rather improve the condition of your heart. It is important for you to keep away from Tobacco -both smoking and chewing. If your clinician has diagnosed Anxiety Disorder in you then there are good and effective treatments available for Anxiety Disorder. Consult your qualified Doctor about it.

You need to determine the underlying causes for anxiety and develop awareness and skills to become more confident, less fearful and find your strengths which will help you to deal with problems more efficiently. You can go to a counselling psychologist in your city for this. I am from Bangalore and offer Skype sessions besides face to face interaction.

You are doing well to want to quit. Having tried it already twice is what quitting smoking is all about: very rarely do people succeed in their first attempt. But persevere you must. When you decide, it must be done immediately and abruptly. Waiting another day will jeopardize the decision.
