Ativan (lorazepam) is often used to treat insomnia and anxiety disorder for short term. There are usually other safer drugs which are started along with lorazepam who takes at least a week to show its effect and thereafter lorazepam is usually tapered off and stopped. Dear Lybrate user,with medication meet some psychotherapist and take cognitive behavior therapy to strengthen your emotional well-being.As soon as you will be confident,u will be alright and then Psychiarist will reduce the dose and you will be happy and healthy again. it is recommended to visit a child or developmental psychologist. Your child is small and at such tender age using play-way therapy will bring wonderful results. You may also talk to school counsellor and get help on this matter. Please don't worry, after pandemic many children are facing similar issues. There are lots of children with similar problems. This is post COVID, post online phenomena.
Dont make the thing worse with too much of treatments.
Need to be patient enough bring him back.
Take him to school and allow to play in school after discussing with teachers and school authorities.
Also provide counselling to get him cope with the school situation.
parents should not get disturbed at the behaviour of the child.
No need of long term medication f...more

Along with a doctor's prescription kabir please take the help of a counselor who can help you in dealing with your thoughts and behavior. you are being treated for a serious condition that will take a long time to recover.
