Dear lybrate-user,
congratulations for thinking of quitting weed and trying to fulfill your obligations. Are you a smoker too? However quit both during this hospital admission. Just 3 days is not enough to get back your appetite and hunger. It will take at least 2-3 days with paroxetine to start its action. Probably you were using weed for quick relief from your depression. Though paroxetine is not that quick, it will relieve you of depression. Clonotril will relieve your withdrawal anxiety ...more

Marijuana has varied findings and claims, many of which are dubious, and some for medicinal uses that are authentic. But each person reacts differently to these substances, and you definitely sound like someone who is not reacting well. These drugs can precipitate underlying anxiety, quite innocuously. If you had any precipitating conditions in your background (genetic, childhood issues etc) then the consumption of this substance can easily precipitate them. Anxiety can be cured even earlier, if...more

It is due to the medication only, which produces day time grogginess. If it persists the medication needs to be changed, discuss with your psychiatrist and get the needful done. Good luck.

Dear Hayat
Anxiety Stress patients worry too much...Stress In today’s day & age where stress is high, feelings of frustration can emerge. It is our perception that can change our current negative situation into a healthy & positive one. Another way of perceiving these feelings of frustration can be by looking at them as an opportunity to push ourselves to go that little extra mile until we achieve our objective. However, there are times when we all can go around in circles; and being in this...more

You can make frisium half in the morning and half at night for about 2 weeks and the make it half at night and stop. But do this under medical advise from your treating doctor and not on your own, as he/ she will be knowing the pros and cons of the same. Good luck.

For some people, it can be bad, but all psychotropic drugs have side effects. Without worrying about the side effects, you need to know if the treatment is effective for your condition. The medication you have been prescribed is good. If you want to avoid the side effects, I suggest you seek a counselor's help and follow many other habits to deal with anxiety and depresion. Don't rely on medication alone. I would specifically want you to learn about emotions, especially anger and fear, and how t...more

Dear Parminder,
Side effects depends on many factors. In an otherwise healthy person, these tablets may not cause any troublesome side effect at all. They are at a very low dose. After 2-3 weeks, please consult the doctor again. She/he will increase the dose to an effective dose.

Hi lybrate-user
you can definitely try half a tablet although it’s a very mild dose.
I’d suggest you get a consultation and change your medications.
There are several types and classes of medications available for depression and anxiety which will not have the side effects you mention.
You can try other medication combinations for the same.
Hope this helps
