Cervical encirclage is done in cases of short incompetent cervix that is weak to withhold baby. Little amount of leak is common. For that complete bed rest, antibiotics to prevent infection in baby, drink lots of fluid, have repeat scan to see liqour of baby. If you are leaking heavily, that means your membrane got ruptured. Connect your gynecologist immediately in that case.
Have a healthy pregnancy.

Not possible that there was no amniotic fluid and a healthy baby was delivered through operation, the fluid must have got mixed with blood. Remember that while doing a surgery, 2 things are handy- a suction machine to drain out the fluids accumulated while doing the surgery & caurtery machine to keep burning tiny blood vessels while cuts are made to prevent blood loss.

15 cm is the cut off for considering as excess fluid. So in your situation, although the fluid is slightly on the higher side, it is really not excess. If the pregnancy is about 32-36 weeks, then this fluid volume is normal. As long you don't have diabetes (sugar) problem and the baby's growth is fine, them is nothing to worry.

The amniotic fluid is very low.Labour induction may be advised.Since 36 th week is running now the baby will be mature.Or the doctor may advise you to get admitted and monitor the baby s heart beat and other things continuously and any time if she feels the baby is at risk either induction of labour or Caesarian will be advised as the situation warrants.
