Acupuncture is done by inserting a thin needle into your skin at certain points in your body. This is done to ensure that the energy flow does not get hampered.

Sometimes along with the needles, a mild electric current or pressure is applied to the needles to get the flow back. Usually, these last in a series of sessions, and the Acupuncturist focuses on the area in your body where you are experiencing a medical condition. There can be a number of sessions and depending on your condition or ailment the therapist would fix the amount of session you must have. Even though it uses the help of needles, they are painless.
