Avoid foods and beverages that trigger acid reflux. Stop smoking. Maintain a healthy weight, and avoid wearing tight clothing or belts. Change positions: Take naps in a chair to remain upright, and try to raise your bed a few inches if possible to re-position your chest.

Do this
1. Don't Overeat
2. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it.

Alcohol is acidic in nature if you had combined this with more spicy or fried food it adds more bonus for you in acid reflux. Now have light food like khichdis less spicy & oily, buttermilk 2 glasses a day, kee sipping sabja water for a day if you feel better thn its good sign. If it persist consult a doctor you might have got ulcers.
