It depends on the results of the MRI. If it's tendinitis or tendinopathy or partial tear of the patella tendon then the treatment is physiotherapy. If there is complete tear or rupture of the patella tendon then surgery is the option.

If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the causes for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. Don't assume anything. Get a check up done first by an orthopedic doctor. Mostly while gymming, if any injury happens, it usually is a microtear which gets healed slowly itself by giving the part rest, ice and protection. But to know its minor or major you need to first get a check up done.
