It appears like you have panic disorder and you are right now on correct medications. May be dose needs titration. If you are tolerating well paeroxetine 12.5 and if if you have tried it for more than 1 month. Better to increase the dose to 25 mg once at night. In case of any anticipatory anxiety and when. 40 years have passed thence. If you are thinking about questioning your own behaviour at that time, it means you are okay now. Pl forget past. However, it's not common for such a young child. But many factors are responsible- brought up, company st that time, environment around you etc.

congratulations for continuing your interest in making your life better. Ect is an option - not tried so far. But it is not a one time treatment. It has to be given under anesthesia, may be 6-12 times. Only few psychiatrists will have ect facility. Ketamine and rtms - very very few psychiatrist will have it. Ketamine will work if you are acutely suicidal. The effect lasts for lesser time than ect. Rtms may be given as outpatient since it does not need anesthesia. But the n...more
