We are doing hair transplantation under local anaesthesia. We inject local by insulin syringe having ultrathin needle 26 g. The number of pricks is not fixed. But we inject 20-30 cc of local for the procedure. The number of grafts is depended on grade of baldness. To simplfy we can say grade 1 baldness we need 1000-1500 grafts, grade 2 baldness nees 2000- 2500 grafts, grade 3 baldness needs 3000-3500 grafts and grade 4 baldness needs 4000-4500 grafts and grade 5 baldness needs 5000-5500 grafts.

We need to examine the patient to know what is wanted and what can...more

Hi
Skin grafting is very safe procedure for Vitiligo. It can be done as long as it is stable and not increasing in size. You can come in private consult for further details. Costing depends on the technique used and duration of surgery.

Dear lybrate-user, gum recession could be because of the deposit of calculus on your teeth and around gum line. Visit your dentist for checkup and oral prophylaxis. Depending on the extent of gum recession, it can be treated just by Scaling procedure or other treatment modalities.
Grafting is needed in severe cases where even after Scaling you don't get satisfactory results.
