Hello. Make sure your intestines are clear and well detoxified because they might be the root cause of your thin body condition. For the detoxification of your stomach and intestines drink lukewarm water right after you wake up in the morning sitting in sukhasaan (chaukdi) and rinse your mouth with Luke warm water and then gulp it in (sip the water instead of drinking it in speed). Eat a heavy breakfast everyday and consume at least 5 spoons of cow ghee along with your food, milk etc (each day and not just one time) The best remedy is sitting in "Prithivi Mudra" for about 20 minutes every day doing this method for 6 months regularly will provide you with natural weight increase (touching the upper part of the ring finger and the thumb , while keeping rest of the three fingers straight ) Another tip is that the best time for breakfast is after the sunrise till 2 and half hrs of sunrise (for example if the sunrises at 6:00AM in your city then the best time is 6:00AM till 8:30AM) Thanks.

I am 15 years old I have been going to the gym for last 4 month s. And I left weights in the gym. I have decided to have nutri gain or whey protien pls tell me which is good as I need to put on weight and in past 4 months I have put on only 2 kgs.

Doctor i'm a 20 years old girl. My weight is increasing very much. I became fat after a disease "fibromyalgia" I had took steroids for my disease for a long time. I can not walk for a long time. Hi, I need to know how to gain fat. I am very skinny. Most of the time I have a back ache when I get up from bed. I heard drinking beer will help me to gain weight. Kindly take powders of ashwagandha and gokshura in equal quantities, mix them well and take this powder, 1 tsf in a glass of warm milk, empty stomach, twice a day. Take ksheera bala 101 capsules, 2 caps, twice a day after meals. Avoid excess tea, carbonated drinks, spicy food, fried food, bakery products in your diet. Restrain yourself from excess masturbation and indulgence in wrong practices. Make sure your you sleep 7 to 8 hrs at night regularly. Stay in touch, continue the regime for 45 days. Good luck.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. Yes offcouse you cant take high protein for weight gaining. But you can do walk for good digestion and metabolism. Dis will increase your appetite. You can gain your weight by proper healthy high calories high protein nutritive diet.

I am 24years old boy having weight 57kg. My trainer suggest to take nitric oxide supplement (NO) just before start exercise in gym. Can I take it or it is harmful for health. Suggest me please I do not want to take wrong things for body building.

Hye. You have just started working out. Your body does not need it. Just because you have started working out does not mean you jump into supplements. Supplements will help only when your body needs them and use depends on on your present food intake, stress, activity levels, medical history etc. Lastly, it's not going to help gain weight.

Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8. Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. 9. Be patient with yourself Hoping to gain weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Even if you follow all the advice that is there, you may end up gaining just 1-2 kilos in a month. Every body is different, and just because you are not seeing results in terms of weight gain, you shouldn’t feel discouraged. Living healthy by eating the right diet will make you feel better and more positive about life and increase your strength. 10. Believe in yourself.

Plantar fascitis is one of the most common cause of heel pain. It is characterised by pain on walking the first few steps after getting up and gradually improves on walking. Exercusing is the best way to get relieve. With d leg straight, pull the toes towards you and hold them for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 times. You should do it before walking, immediately after getting up before taking those first steps.

Hello, Having quality protein while going to gym is always suggested. But this need not be supplements. Try having 1 gm of protein per kg body weight. your best protein sources are egg whites, soya milk, fat less and lean cut meats and poultry, legumes, pulses, nuts and seeds. Do not go for very high protein per serving supplements as they have risk of effecting your kidneys on long run. Hope this helps you.stay healthy stay fit☺

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. 6) massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.

Weight gain is a scientific process and depends on many factors such as genetic, hormonal imbalance, previous weight records and many more. To gain weight it's important to eat balanced diet with enough of carbs, good fat & protein in your diet. Try to include high calorie food in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, nuts, cheese, sweetened beverages, shakes etc. Do take good quality protein sources in your every meal such as milk & milk products, soy & sprouts, lean meat, eggs, pulses, sprouts, soy. Include more of nuts & dairy products in diet. Avoid junk food.
