Sunken jaws bone are actually not possible. You may had loose muscle mass from your face. You can gain muscle mass by inc protien diet. You will gain it back unless you had a injury and refered alteration.

Mr you need to take oral anti diabetic drugs. To start with take tablet k -glim-m1once a day before break fast and later check sugar level after ten days. Simultaneously you have to exercise daily for more than 1 h and avoid direct sweets, deep fried foods and fruits like mango, banana, chikkoos & grapes. Also get your hba1c and lipid profile done and inform me.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

If you are trying to gain some kg, eat some lean red meat. Steak contains a lot of protein and iron. Foods like ground beef, pork chops can also be eaten.

Hello,. 1/2 tsp honey or jaggery helps a lot in detoxification but you should use minimal quantity. Natural vegetables like carrots,beetroot have natural aweetness,you can consider adding them.

. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for legs - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories. * you can take guggalu tablets of himalaya company 1 tablet daily for atleast 3 months but only under the supervision of ayurveda expert. You need to quit immediately. It is not that the quantity of cigarettes is much but it seems that your constitution does not agree with tobacco smoke. So to quit take the following measures: You have to quit cold turkey because the body and mind will torture you endlessly while attempting a reduction in smoking. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged on. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check-up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact, these conditions can exist all through the day, unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heartbeat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact, it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chew gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. You could also join twitter2quit program and enjoy its success to give up smoking.

Hi lybrate-user 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Portion Size Control – The Basics

“It’s not just a question of how healthy your food choices are that count when it comes to weight". “Often the quality of the food is okay, remember there is no ‘one’ bad food’ – however there are ‘bad’ quantities”.

“Portion Distortion is very common. Learning to recognise how much you body needs, and recognising when you’re full is important to successful long term weight loss”.
You should take a little time to familiarise yourself with different portion sizes. “Even just cutting out 15-20% of what you normally serve yourself will help enormously in weight management, and you’re unlikely to feel hungry if you snack on healthy choices and eat regularly.”



Portion Control Pointers

Portion control is essential for you to successfully manage your weight – for both maintaining and losing weight.


Ravenous hunger can (and usually does!) result in eating larger portions. Eating regular meals prevents ‘ravenous hunger’ and will help you control your portion sizes.


The average portion sizes have increased by 25-50% over the past 30 years e.g. crisp packs have increased from 25g to 35g – eat one of these bigger bags everyday and the extra calories equal a 2.5kg (5lb) weight gain over a year. With pre packed pasta and spaghetti the suggested servings are sometimes over a third more than the recommended portion size (not only does this hinder weight control – you’ll end up finishing the packet quicker and have to buy more of the product… strange that).


Don’t be seduced by quantity and avoid ‘going large’ or ‘super sizing’’. Although larger portions of chips, onion rings, cappuccinos etc may appear to offer good value for money, they offer poor value for health – you simply end up eating or drinking more calories, fat and sugar and this will lead to weight gain.


Don’t be tempted by meal deals, offered by many supermarkets and sandwich shops, unless they offer fruit or fruit desserts instead of crisps or cake.




Common Myth and Misconceptions

“It’s low in fat and so I can eat more”. This is a common mistake however it’s not true - just because the packet says ‘low fat’ does not mean the food is low in calories. Portion control is important for all foods, even those claiming to be low in fat or calories.


“Liquids don’t count”. Yes they do – and this is where it is easy to misjudge your intake of food portions. Some liquids can contain a significant number of calories – a large latte coffee, for instance, contains 212 calories; the skinny option contains 167cals – both would give you the same nutrition but the skinny version (especially if you had a smaller size) would help you manage your weight.


Tips and Tricks

-If you usually eat all of the food on your plate and never leave any, serve smaller portions and wait for a few minutes before going back for seconds.

-Fill half of your plate with vegetables or salad first, and then add the protein (e.g. meat, fish) and starch (e.g. potatoes, pasta) portions.

-Measure out salad dressings, mayonnaise and sauces in spoons – you will use less than if you simply pour them over.

-Drink a large glass of water with every meal – this is great for your digestion and will also help you to feel full.

-Always sit down to eat if you can - studies have shown that those who don’t watch TV whilst eating, eat less - so turn the TV off. Focusing on enjoying your meal will help you to stop eating when you are full – distractions will make it less likely that you will notice when you are full.

Hi, do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. No drink before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water, increase intake of fruits and vegetables, full cream milk and its products. Avoid fried, oily, maida and its products etc. Drink milk shake in breakfast.
