I am suffering by fibro adenoma. I had an operation to remove. But now two more tumors are present. What is the cause?

General Surgeon, Delhi
Dear lybrate-user, fibroadenoma are breast lump usually occurring in 15-25 years age group. In case the lumps aren't large enough, they should not be removed. An ultrasound of both the breast should be done for better diagnosis of the breasts. I would suggest you to consult a surgeon.

There is concern that reheating of fried foods increase nitrosamines (pre carcinogens) in food. But it is not proven.

Mr. Yash. As I have gone through your problem I have to tell you that With lung tuberculosis you had cold abscess in chest wall Which occurs due to involvement of chest bones like mid chest bone sternum ribs joints of sternum and ribs this can be single or multiple this happens due to low immunity of the patient,as for treatment is concerned you are taking proper treatment some times surgical evacuation of the pus or underlying bone is to be taken out to get rid of repeated problems. Plz take care of your diet take high protein diet fruits milk as told by your treating doctor. I hope you will improve I don’t think you have any other diseases.

Hi, One of my relative is taking" GUTKHA" for about more than 15 years and she is about 37 yrs. Old. At what age she may be suffer from Cancer. OR she may not be. please reply. Thanks a lot in advance.:)

DNB, MBBS
Oncologist, Faridabad
Dear sir, nearly 40percent cancers are tobacco related, chewing gutkha is one of the worst kind of addiction and may lead to oral cancers which are very bad type of cancers. There is no specific pattern as inner immunity also plays role in resisting cancer development, but as the immunity goes down it may develop into cancer.

Hi, My aunt is detected with breast cancer. She was panic. Can I know the process of treatment. Please suggest her the diet.

MD - Alternate Medicine, Phd - Medical Biochemistry
Oncologist, Delhi
Initial treatment is surgery with removal of lymph nodes if they are also involved. Later a radiation and chemo IV or oral may be suggested. This will also be based on the ER, PR and Her 2 scores of the biopsy taken to confirm the nature or type of cancer. More I would be able to suggest after the reports. Wish this helps.

Hello actually my brother in law is suffering from lung cancer treatment is going on in TATA Medical Center kolkata under Dr. on last visit he suggested that (brother in law) for surgery so you know what we lay man are always stay away from any surgery so that's why we want a second opinion.

MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
Lung cancer is very fast spreading cancer, if cancer is limited only to lungs ; then its better to go for surgery as once it involve other body parts it may get very lethal .it is best advisable to go for surgery, maintain a healthy protein diet.
