Hello. Make sure your intestines are clear and well detoxified because they might be the root cause of your thin body condition. For the detoxification of your stomach and intestines drink lukewarm water right after you wake up in the morning sitting in sukhasaan (chaukdi) and rinse your mouth with Luke warm water and then gulp it in (sip the water instead of drinking it in speed). Eat a heavy breakfast everyday and consume at least 5 spoons of cow ghee along with your food, milk etc (each day and not just one time) The best remedy is sitting in "Prithivi Mudra" for about 20 minutes every day doing this method for 6 months regularly will provide you with natural weight increase (touching the upper part of the ring finger and the thumb , while keeping rest of the three fingers straight ) Another tip is that the best time for breakfast is after the sunrise till 2 and half hrs of sunrise (for example if the sunrises at 6:00AM in your city then the best time is 6:00AM till 8:30AM) Thanks.

Beans are rich sources of fiber, protein and carbohydrates. These are one of the best calorie-dense foods that helps put on weight. Beans can be eaten as a snack or can be included in breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are several varieties of beans like red beans, black beans, soy beans, lima beans, lentils, and kidney beans. Alternatively, you can also prepare bean soup or bean salad. For quick results, eat them daily for one or two months.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this- 1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor Neurologist and to confirm exact pathological cause please do few investigations like Carotid ultrasonography, ECHO, MRI, and Arteriography 2) Do take treatment as per test reports as well as clinical findings only Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Don't smoke. Limit cholesterol and fat. Cutting back on cholesterol and fat, especially saturated fat and trans fat, in your diet may reduce the buildup of plaques in your arteries. 2) Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. 3) Limit sodium in diets 4) Do exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight contributes to other risk factors, such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. Losing weight with diet and exercise may lower your blood pressure and improve your cholesterol levels. 5) Don't use illicit drugs. 6) Control diabetes if you have Hope that helps.

Lifestyle Many people who can't gain weight don't realize they are not getting enough calories to gain weight. Skipping meals due to a busy schedule or simply not consuming enough of the right foods, such as fats or carbohydrates, can be factors. Exercising but not consuming enough calories to make up for the expenditure is another common reason you might not gain weight. Monitoring your daily caloric expenditure and intake can help determine if this is the case. Hyperthyroidism The thyroid gland affects your metabolism through the hormones it secretes. When it produces too much thyroxin, your metabolism will speed up and you will burn calories more rapidly -- a condition known as hyperthyroidism. Your appetite will often increase, and you may not gain weight despite eating more. Other symptoms can include a rapid or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, anxiety, tremors in the hands and fingers and an increase in bowel movements. Women may see a change in menstrual patterns. You may also feel an enlargement in your neck. Muscle weakness, weight loss and fatigue are also common symptoms. If you experience any of these symptoms, contact a doctor immediately. Diabetes There are two types of diabetes. Type 1 is usually diagnosed in childhood but can also be diagnosed later in life -- it is caused by a lack of insulin in the body. Type 2 diabetes is marked by resistance to insulin and usually occurs in adulthood. Insulin regulates the amount of glucose in the body, so weight and appetite are often the first things affected because glucose is our main source of fuel. Both types can lead to lack of weight gain, even with an increased appetite. Other symptoms of diabetes can include blurred vision, fatigue as well as increased appetite, thirst and urination. If you have any of these symptoms, contact a doctor. Gastrointestinal Issues Problems with the intestines can mean your body is not properly absorbing the food you are eating. Even if you are consuming a lot, you could suffer from malnutrition and not be able to gain weight. These types of diseases are known as "malabsorption syndromes. Some common forms of this disease type are irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, ulcers and celiac disease, according to the Mayo Clinic. Symptoms can include blood in the stool, abnormal bowel movements -- too many or too few -- fatigue, pain in the abdomen, gas and possible weight loss. If you are experiencing these symptoms along with no weight gain, consult a doctor for proper diagnosis. Considerations Hyperthyroidism, diabetes and gastrointestinal problems are the common diseases that can lead to losing weight or the inability to gain weight. But there are other, less-common, issues that could be at fault. Some prescription medications can increase your metabolism, which will burn more calories. Cancer, infection and neurological issues can all affect your weight, usually in the form of weight loss. Regardless, it's best to consult a doctor to get a proper diagnosis. Even if it ends up that you are one of those who simply has a hard time gaining weight, knowing what is at the root of the problem can offer relief and give you an indication of what your next step should be.

I am 21 years old I want increase the weight is there any solution for increasing weight.
Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: 1.Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. 2. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, pastas and cereals like whole wheat ; fruits and vegetables; dairy products like milk, curd and paneer ;lean protein like fish, chicken and eggs ; and nuts and seeds. 3.Try smoothies and shakes. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes made with milk and fresh or frozen fruit, and sprinkle in some ground flaxseed. In some cases, a liquid meal replacement may be recommended. 4.Watch when you drink. Some people find that drinking fluids before meals blunts their appetite. In that case, it may be better to sip higher calorie beverages along with a meal or snack. For others, drinking 30 minutes after a meal, not with it, may work. 5.Make every bite count. Snack on nuts, peanut butter, cheese, dried fruits and almond butter. 6.Top it off. Add extras to your dishes for more calories — such as cheese in casseroles and scrambled eggs, and fat-free dried milk in soups and stews. 7. Have an occasional treat. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of pie with ice cream is OK. But most treats should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Yoghurt and granola bars are good choices. 8. Exercise. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.
