I have sinusitis problem. I am preparing bank exam. My Doubt is that sinusitis is medical issue in medical fitness test. please replay me sir.

Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO), MBBS
ENT Specialist, Guwahati
Hello and welcome to lybrate, regarding your concern, sinusitis (initial stage) has no issues. I am actually more accustomed for fitness test for defence personal as I generally get patients for ent check up before defence job interviews. They are generally strict regarding dns (deviated nasal septum) with severe sinusitis, also hearing, smell and taste deficiencies. They are also strict in refraction and color blindness etc. Etc. But for bank purposes sinusitis may be an issue if you have gross dns with severe sinusitis as headache may reduce your work efficiency and ac exposure may not be good for you. Mild cases are spared. I think you should get a ct pns done and consult a local ent surgeon before your interview. Thanks and take care.

Calcified leison scar in left side at my lungs due to old infection is still visible in x ray despite got full treatment before thirty years. Is this possible to remove permanently this scar from left lungs.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine
General Physician, Delhi
Dear, I am sure as a child you must have had multiple cuts and bruises over your skin and some of the scars are still around. Similarly when along infection heals it can leave a permanent scar. As long as you are not having any problems do not worry about the xray we are here to cure you not your x-ray and since it has been there for 30 yrs it is unlikely to cause any new problem now. You can breathe easy

Hello Harish, Sever congestion in the chest due to cough is responsible for difficulty in breathing and pain in chest. You continue with Amoxycillin tablets and complete the course. Along with it, take regular steam inhalation. Atleast 3 to 4 times a day.

After missed one Month of tB course. There is No problem in my health. It Is much better then before. Should I restart my tB course again. Or this is fine.

DNB(Respiratory Diseases), MBBS
Pulmonologist, Jabalpur
You have done a mistake by discontinuing medicines of TB for a months now. You have not only increased chances of it coming back but also it has increased chances of coming back in form of drug resistant TB(which is a dangerous form called mdr-tb), if the course was incompletely taken.

Here's a Reason for Choosing Homeopathic Treatment for Bronchitis

MD-Hom., BHMS, Dip. in Cosmetology & Trichology
Cosmetic Physician, Mumbai
Here's a Reason for Choosing Homeopathic Treatment for Bronchitis

Choosing homeopathy to cure bronchitis

Bronchitis is a respiratory disease where people cough up thick mucus. Bronchitis can either be acute or chronic, with the most common cause of bronchitis being either viral or bacterial infection. Acute bronchitis improves within a few days with proper medications. On the other hand, chronic bronchitis is a serious condition causing constant irritation in the linings of bronchial tubes. The most commonly visible signs of bronchitis are a cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, chest discomfort and slight fever and chills. Exposure to excessive pollutants and smoking can cause chronic bronchitis.

How homeopathy can help you in treating bronchitis

Bronchitis can be treated with the help of homeopathy, which can be instrumental in providing relief, thereby improving your quality of life. In fact, homeopathy can be your best option for treating both the forms of bronchitis, as it offers significant relief from the symptoms as well as helps in improving your health in totality.

In the case of acute bronchitis, homeopathy can shorten the duration of the illness to a great extent. When a patient is on the homeopathic treatment he/she experiences a marked reduction in toxicity as well. For the management of an acute attack of bronchitis, the prescribed homeopathic medicines may have to be taken at shorter intervals, after every few hours.

Chronic bronchitis, though contagious, can be treated by homeopathy as well. The symptoms of chronic bronchitis can be significantly improved by homeopathic remedies. It can even aid the patient in quitting smoking.

The most important aspect of homeopathy treatment in the management of bronchitis is that the medicine works very fast and does not leave you weak and drained at the end of the infection. Homeopathic treatment can also help to prevent complications such as pneumonia, respiratory failure, right sided heart failure (the one that affects the right side of your heart), emphysema, etc.

Homeopathic medicines come without any side effects and are non-addictive. Also, there is no problem in administering the medicines to any patient irrespective of age; therefore, it's a safer choice to opt for homeopathy for the treatment of bronchitis.
