I have severe knee pain and loss of sleepness. Can you give me a solution for this?

1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. 6. Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).

You have to do an MRI of the Lumbo-sacral spine and send me the report. Also do an x-ray of Lumbo-sacral spine AP and lateral in flexion and extension. Send me the images if possible.

Go and your x ray done for lower back. And do some light stratching and strengthening exercise for back muscles. Do isometric back do not band forward and lift heavy weight.

Tips for backache: heavy objects should be pushed rather than pulled. The weight of the objects should be taken in your bent legs and arms and not in your back. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back. Tips to improve balance/alignment/motion: lift your leg so your thigh is parallel to the ground while touching a wall. Hold it for five breaths. For alignment, move side to side while sitting on a balance ball. For motion, try moving forward and backward on the ball.

I have more water content in my body and I couldn't able to tolerate the heel pain and what are all the tips to cure this one.

For the heal pain, definitely need to check with condition such as plantar fasciitis or heal spur. Strerching of calf muscle along with fascia stretch would be very helpful, however for the water content need to meet a nephrologist to see if there is any particular issue with water retention.

It could be due to cervical spondylosys. Confirm by x-rays of cervical spine ap & lat. Views no pillow under the head during sleep. Do neck & shoulder exercises. I am Siva 18 years old. I am having some neck pain I will not use pillow for sleeping I will use my hand in my head during sleeping due to this any problem will arise later or I have to avoid sleeping with hands as pillow what is the correct posture and how to sleep without using pillow.

Ok, you avoid pillow good, do not lying hand in head it is also good, first suggest you one of the v good excuse, if you have bed the lye out in the bed shoulder or down the down the bed, une sunjhey ke put hoker kandhe se niche ka porstion latka dena hye or uske bad gerdan ko upper ki or lejana hye panch bar, after ek hath niche rakhna or ek hath upper rakhna hye or kerwat hoker hath ko apne kemer sidhe rakhna hye uske bad gerdan ko panch bar upper lana hye phir thik usi tarah agar ap dahen orse pehle shuru kiya hai toa baye n terf thik usi tarah karna hai aap ka problem do dino mea solve ho jayega ok.

For pain do take ift physiotherapy treatment for 14 days followed by spinal and shoulder mobilization exercise from the therapist and try to sleep in even hard and firm mattress and my sincere advise don't take pain killers for long duration

I am having a small problem in my knee. Whenever I sit down bending my knee there is a sound from it as if something is breaking.

If there any pain in knee during flexion you need to see the doctor personally. If only the crepitus sound is the concern need not worry. You may apply ayurveda oil externally, may be like prabhanjanam thailam.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. I am 52 years old and run between 8 to 9 kms six days a week. I often get muscle pull in calf and muscle below calf. What vitamin do I lack that I often get muscle pull which takes a long time to cure. I eat vegetables everyday and eggs sometimes. Kindly advice what I should do.

Prior to run, you should do stretching of ankle n caff muscles. Vitamin d3 and b12 both you can have. Apple hot pack over pulled muscles and do stretching n running.

Hello I am 21 years old. I am having a severe back pain when ever I lift more than 5-10 kgs I tried normal pain killers like aceclo fenac, diclo fenac even tramadol But I get relif whenever I massage that area So kindly please help me to overcome this problem.

Backache is normally two types: structural & mechanical. At your age is commonly mechanical back pain, due to bad ergonomics leads to bad posture finally ends into back pain. I would recommend you to see physiotherapy doctor n get it checked properly and take treatment. Tens, ultrasound therapy & heat therapy is best choice of treatment. After pain reduces start with mild strengthening exercises n stay fit.
