I am 27 year female, and found that I had PCOD four months back. For two months I used feminol to regularise periods third moth I got period after 26 days. But this month I am still waiting for my period and its already 30 days. Does my period became irregular or I may be pregnant.

You can become pregnanct only if you have had sex in the last month. So if you have had sex, and have missed your period, do a urine pregnancy test on a monring sample of urine in a lab and see if it is negative then the cause of your menses delay is pcod. Menstrual cycles occur due to a complex interaction between the hormones released from the brain with the effect they have on the ovaries and uterus. Menstrual cycle length can be changed by thoughts, and some emotional events like exams, stressful events, birth, death in family etc you have been suspected to have pcod and this is a very common finding nowadays. Pcod is not an unsurmountable disease, and it can be helped with medicines and some lifestyle modification. During pcod the body's chemical capacity to utilise glucose is altered, and hence there is a cascade of events like weight gain, irregular menses, acne and darkening of skin etc. Weight gain is crucial factor. You have been experiencing weight gain too. The best way to curb this disease is to control weight using a multi modal approach like - diet -exercise - medicines. So visit a good dietician and chart out a healthy diet, do regular cardiovascular exercises which help in burning the excess fat thats accumulated as excess weight in body. If your weight goes down by even 5 kg, you will experience a good regularisation of your menstrual cycle on it's own, without resorting to any medications. Of course we can give medicines to help patients with pcod, like the ones you have taken, but they are not the only factor that can regulate this disease. Life style modification is the cornerstone in management of pcod.

Hi. Like after any other open heart surgery, you can start physical exercise in about 2-3 months time. But weight lifting and push-ups are advised atleast after 4-5 months as per your would health status.

Eating three meals a day, no matter what?s in them, isn't going to help you bulk up.Your body burns calories fast, so you need to feed it more than it can use up right away. That means eating not just when you're hungry, but throughout the day. Aim to eat five meals a day to gain weight. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Water will help your body process the extra protein and calories you?re taking in. Drink several glasses with every meal to avoid getting dehydrated. Since you?re probably also going to be exercising more to gain mass, aim to drink 10 glasses of water every day. ? You can also drink unsweetened tea, fruit juice, and other healthy beverages. ? Avoid drinking Gatorade and other sports drinks in excessive amounts, since they contain a lot of sugar. Focus on protein, fats and carbohydrates. These are the three staples that will help you gain weight, and you need plenty of each of them to stay healthy. Focus on incorporating protein, fats and carbohydrates into every meal you eat so your diet stays balanced. Here are some examples of good choices in each category: ? Start brisk walking for 40 minutes use Luke warm water whole day start taking aparicot daily avoid oily, spicy, out side food. Take arjun powder 1tbs b.d with cow milk tab cardiocalm 2 tab twice a day after meal.

I have some nodule type formation near my neck region inside. Doctors said it is due to infection swelling has cause in submandibular gland and some said due to cold. But its been around 2years its just the same. They 2-3 in number and pain sometimes during cold weather. I have tried homopathy and also other but didn' t work. Surgeon or facio oral surgeon which will help for localization of part involve so sonography of that part can tell what is that and cause of swelling on which line of treatment depends let me knows reports of investication for proper guidance.

Your BMI is 22.15 that means you have perfect weight for your height. Why do you want to add more weight. That will lead to getting a tummy and after few days you will be asking question on'how to reduce weight' If you are trying to build muscles then do it through exercise. Food will not give you muscles. I will suggest - do regular Exercise. Eat healthy food. Be confident of yourself the way you are. And Be Happy.

Excessive weight gain is caused when people consume more calories than the body needs—occurring most commonly due to eating a diet high in fat and calories, being sedentary, or both. This imbalance between calories consumed and calories burned, however, can also be caused by a number of different obesity-related factors such as genetic, hormonal, behavioral, environmental and, to some extent, cultural. There are many other factors causing obesity such as pregnancy, tumors as well as endocrine disorders and medications that include psychotic drugs, estrogens, corticosteroids and insulin Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Very happy to know that despite your past troubles, you are studying for ias. That is great news! you no longer have to think you are very ordinary as you are preparing to make yourself extra-ordinary! not all of us become ias. All you need is good guidance. If you can afford, see a psychologist. Or, you practice all that is taught daily on astha channel 5.00 to 7.30 am. Very very effective- esp anulom-vilom and bramri and udgit. You will get miraculous results for free and without adverse effects of allopathic medicines and will gain good physical and mental health, increase in your stamina, good concentration, improved memory, etc. Not necessary, you have to be present in front of your tv at 5 am. Begin by switching on your tv just whatever time you get up and start practicing as being taught. Gradually when you regulate your sleeping time, you will be able to get up next morning at 5 and will be able to do complete workout. Best of luck for good health and happiness, and ias.

1.Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2.Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Wheat Germ oil to massage your head at night. You can also put some fenugreek powder in the oil, heat the oil a bit and apply it on scalp for hairfall, whitening and dandruff. 3.Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4.Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5.Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6.Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Some sources of this are – eggs, whole grains, all types of seeds like flaxseed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Dry fruits and nuts etc.

WHEN YOU ARE IN SIGNIFICANT BACK PAIN -- Shall you Exercise or Not ?

  • A severe, acute attack of low back pain will cause pain that is felt at all times regardless of the position adopted or the movements being performed. It is made much worse by sitting or rising from sitting and by bending forward.
  • If the pain is also much worse on attempting to stand or walk, and if you are unable to straighten up fully, it may not be possible for you to function, and bed rest is the only alternative.Recent research tells us that bed rest is not the best option for the treatment of acute and severe back pain and should be given for no more than two days. 
  • Those involved in that particular study,however, will perhaps alter that view if they ever personally experience a severe bout of the problem.In my experience, there are many patients in severe pain who require longer than two days of bed rest before ambulation is possible. 
  • Nevertheless, early activity, exercise and movement is desirable for those forced to seek bed rest, and a determined effort to stand upright should be attempted at an opportune time at least once each day.

Hye. You cannot target one body part. You have to work on overall loss. You can include the following exercises into your exercise routine. Just these exercises won't help. It has to be a part of the exercises you are doing for overall loss. Exercises To Reduce Stomach Fat1)    Crunches: There is no better exercise that you can think of to reduce belly fat than crunches. It will help you to easily burn stomach fat and if this exercise is coupled with a proper diet intake, then you can see effective results in quick time. Lie flat on your back on a mat. Bent your knees with your feet touching the ground.Now place your hands just behind your head.Take a deep breath and lift your upper body off the floor. You need to exhale when you are lifting your body.When you bring your body back to its original position you need to inhale. Once you come up you need to exhale.Do this for 10 times and then repeat for two or three more sets.2)    Reverse Crunches This is another exercise that will help you to easily get rid of stomach fat. Lie with your back on a mat. Raise your knees with the feet planted on the ground.Keep both the hands on either side of your body.Push your feet in such a way that your thighs are perpendicular to the ground and your feet are off the ground.Now lift your back such that your knees bend towards your chest.Inhale when you plant your feet on the ground and exhale when you lift your back and move your knees towards the chest.Repeat this for 10 times and for two more sets.3)    Twist Crunches This exercise routine is very similar to crunch exercise and here you will have to rotate your shoulder in the direction of the other shoulder. Lie down on the mat with your hands behind your head.Bend your knees and make sure that the feet do not touch the ground.Now move your upper body towards your knees like the crunch exercise. But, here you will have to make sure that you twist your right shoulder towards your left and the left torso must be on the ground.Repeat the same way on the other side. Here, you lift your left shoulder towards the right with the right torso resting on the ground.Repeat the same procedure for 10 to 12 times.4)    Vertical Leg CrunchLie with your back on the mat or the floor. Extend both your legs towards the ceiling and make sure that you cross one knee over the other.Now repeat the same what you have done in the crunch exercise.Breathe in when you lift and cross the knees and breathe out when you move your upper body towards your knees.Repeat this vertical crunch exercise for 10 to 15 times for three consecutive sets.5)    Side Crunches The side crunches will also help you to shed excess belly fat and will also help in providing a proper workout for your love handles. It is very much similar to the twist crunch exercise. The only difference here is that you will have to lift your right leg up when you are tilting your left shoulder towards the right shoulder and vice versa. Repeat for 10 to 12 times each side for 2 consecutive sets. 6)    Bicycle Exercise This is yet another exercise that will help you to shed excess fat round your belly area easily. Lie flat on the floor or the mat and keep both the hands on either side of your head.Now lift both your legs from the ground and bend them at your knees.Now pull your right knee close to your chest with your left leg out. When you are bringing the right knee up you can try to meet your left elbow with your right knee to have a perfect stomach crunch.Now take your right leg out and bring your left knee close to your chest. Now, lift your upper body and make sure that your right elbow touches your left knee for a perfect crunch.Repeat this for 10 to 12 times for both the sides and for two consecutive sets.7)    Rolling Plank Exercise The rolling plank exercise is another popular exercise that will work great on your lower back, hip and abdomen areas. Take your position on the floor or a mat in such a way that your knees and elbows are resting on the ground.You need to look forward so that your neck is aligned with your spine.Now lift the knees up so that you support your legs now on your toes.Now contract your knees and keep it in this plank pose for about 30 seconds. Make sure that you breathe normally during this routine.Now move to and fro for the next half a minute to constitute a rolling plank exercise.Rolling Plank SidewaysLie on the floor in a sideways position.Support your weight on the right elbow and your right leg. Make sure that the right elbow is perpendicular to your right shoulder.Place the left leg above your right leg. Keep your knees straight and lift yourself in such a way that your hips are off the ground.Hold this position for about 30 seconds. Once you practice this position, you can hold to this position for 1 to 2 minutes.Do the same on the other side as well.8)    Lunge Twist If you are a beginner trying to work your belly to remove its excess fat, then you should first try out the lunge twist exercise. Move your left foot forward and bend your left knee. You will feel the hamstring stretch on your right leg.Now lift your hands parallel to the ground and make sure that they are in front of you.Take a big step forward with your left leg and sit down as if you are sitting on a chair. Your right leg should be positioned backwards and you must use your toes to support your right leg.Make sure that your upper body and the spine are in the upright position to perform perfect lunges.Now perform the same lunge exercise on the other leg.Repeat this for 15 times.9)    Side To Side Bending Bending side to side not just helps in reducing excess fat deposits in your stomach area, but it also helps in giving your love handles a perfect shape. Stand in an erect position with your feet together. Lift both your hands and stretch it above your head and make sure that they are clasped together.Now bend your body to your left side as much as possible until you feel a strain on your right side. Hold in this position for 15 seconds.Now come back to the same standing position.Now repeat the same on the right side.
