You can also make a cough syrup from baked onion juice, comfrey tea and honey. Drink it daily to get relief from a dry cough. Another option is to combine one-half teaspoon of onion juice with one teaspoon of pure honey. Swallow this solution at least twice a day to alleviate a cough and soothe your throat. this would definitely give you relief

MD, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Asthma Tips Dos Consume healthy diet, include fresh vegetables and fruits. Manage your weight and restrict the intake of calories. People who areobeseare more likely to have more severe asthma symptoms. Stress quickly depresses the immune system. Learn to manage stress in personally effective ways. Follow an ?early-to-bed, early-to-rise? routine. Add a little dried ginger powder to your milk, and fresh ginger to your meals. Try to get some fresh air and sunshine each day. Exercise boosts the immune system but do it in moderation. Don?ts Avoid smoking. Smokingalways makes asthma worse. Avoid strenuous exercise Avoid sleeping during day time. Avoid exposure to rain, humidity, dust and pollens. Avoid consuming bananas, citrus fruits, ice-cream, cold drinks and fried foods. If you are allergic to specific food, better to avoid it. Last but not least, Take ayurvedic tablets to enhance immunity and cure asthma.

Cough hygiene
There is cough and sneeze to expel respiratory waste .Respiratory secretions are in form of droplets if more than 5 micron size and airborn dropler nuclie if less than 5 micron. Droplets can cause infection upto distance of 3ft and airborne droplet nuclie upto distance of 10ft.In influenza ,rubella and meningitis infection by droplet and in TB and measal, chicken pox by airborn droplet infection.
If using ac then use air exchanse in window ac which is not possible in split ac,which is why persons working in split ac are more likly to spread infection

In order to reduce exposure in households where someone has infectious TB, the following actions should be taken whenever possible: Houses should be adequately ventilated; Anyone who coughs should be educated on cough etiquette and respiratory hygiene, and should follow such practice at all times; While smear positive, TB patients should: Spend as much time as possible outdoors; If possible, sleep alone in a separate, adequately ventilated room; Spend as little time as possible on public transport; Spend as little time as possible in places where large numbers of people gather up.
