Pls consult a physician as quite a few times things take a turn for the worst. U need to see to it that he has adequate nutrition to help him cope n recuperate. Light regular small meals plus fluids eg water, juice,ors. Oral rehydration salt used as per instructions. Hope your brother gets well soon. Rgds.

Weight gain is a scientific process & depends on many factors such as genetic, hereditary, previous weight records, hormonal. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Only 3 meals will not be enough. Include high calorie foods in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, nuts. Even medicine not work in isolation. And try to be in positive energy balance under the supervision of diet expert so to gain weight the healthy way.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

I' m 65 years old, having cervical spondolosis and suffering from jan. 15 onwards with vomitings, using tab. Verbit 16 whenever feeling vomiting sensation. Doing neck exercises. Using callor, otherwise feeling uncomfortable. Now feeling little better. Cannot move out of home without somebody. Kindly suggest and guide me how to get complete relief and move out alone.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your neck pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating upper limb pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Dear lybrate user, I appreciate you for donating blood. One can donate blood regularly at 6months interval (i have seen many people doing it regularly). There will be absolutely no harm. As a precaution don't do heavy work on the day of donation. Just take good nutritional food, maintain good habbits. You don't need any supplements at this age. You need not worry you r completely normal. Keep donating blood at least once in a year voluntarily, you will save many lives.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

you have to take protein rich diet like milk and milk product,plenty of green leafy vegetables, sybean, fruits, dry fruits like walnut,almond, egg white, fish,chicken etc. but don't take in excess, otherwise you will gain weight

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I got an injury while playing cricket. Suddenly while running to pick the ball. Injured my right leg near knee. I also took x-ray. No fracture in it. It was happen one month back. Now I am not comfortable with leg. During walk etc. Is there any possibility for ligament tear. How to recover from it. If once ligament torn. There is no possibility to work like normal? How long it ll take to active leg as before to incident occurs? I want to lead a normal life again. Advise me.

There are 4 major ligaments and two menisci in the knee joint. Treatment and recovery depends upon which component is injured. Diagnosis can only be confirmed by mri. But you can wait and watch, start some quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercise. If things don't improve in 1 month, go to an orthopaedic surgeon who will then probably advice mri.

You are just 19. Acl tear causes instability of knee joint. It leads to many problems like difficulties in running, sports etc. It may also lead to meniscus tear. If its partial tear, then physiotherapy may help. If its complete tear, then it can not heal on its own.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. A nocturnal emission or involuntary leakage is an involuntary ejaculation of semen that occurs during sleep or along with urine while urination. Studies show that approximately 83% of men experience a nocturnal emission or leakage at some point in their lives. There is nothing wrong with a person if he or she experiences a nocturnal orgasm or nocturnal emission or leakage, as they are normal and healthy experiences. If you have experienced a wet dream, you should not feel ashamed. There is no way to prevent nocturnal orgasms or emissions from happening. Sage tea is the best home remedy which is used to treat conditions such as nightfall. If you drink at least two cups in a day, the chances of getting wet dreams will reduce too.
