’m a 28years old male that was diagnosed with a partial ACL tear in my right knee. I’ve been living with it for 4 years. I’m not nearly as strong lifting or explosive jumping and running and my knee feels tight and weak for days after heavy sports or leg workouts, although it does’t buckle. What would be your thoughts on my situation? Grade || signal intensity in body and posterior horn of the medical meniscus, suggestive of tear. Medical serpiginous low signal intensity lesions on T1 W with central hyperintense signal on T2 W images involving medical and lateral femoral, lower 1/3 shaft of femur likely to represent bony infarcts. Small osteochondral defect with partial loss articular cartilage at lateral femoral condale. Minimal joint effusion Uric acid also high side (end line) 7.1. Thanks.

Partial acl tear usually do not need surgery. Moreover you symptoms are not due to ligament insufficiency. Partial articular cartilage defects are left as such. Grade 2 signal in meniscus are usually not symptomatic. It may not be wise to suggest anything without clinical examination and mri films, but as per your symptoms and mri report, I think you should focus on quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercises. Any surgery is less likely to improve your symptoms.

i suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating ......

Please note that there could be several reasons for weight loss -- Diabetes/Depression/Overactive Thyroid/Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)/Tuberculosis/Crohn’s disease/Addison’s disease/Cancer/HIV/AIDS/Parkinson’s disease. The exact cause needs to be identified and then treated accordingly. Please give him Nux vom 30 - twice daily 4 pills and Five phos 4 tabs thrice daily. DO give me a feedback after 3 weeks.

5.5 it's not too much short height. For more increase of height you do daily jumping as well as hanging exercise. Eat daily jaggery as wel as tila 3-4 times. Weight gain - eat-sprout, fruits, all types of dal which is having more protein. Egg, soyabean also good for weight. Medicine -kushmandavleha 2tbs for three times a day. I am 36 year male suffering from pain just above angle in my right leg whenever I walk for more that 1 km. Also while walking I experience numbness & tightening in my right foot below ankle. This pain & numbness goes away slowly when I stop walking. I am suffering from ankylosing spondylitis for last 10-12 years but have never experienced such situation. Kindly advice.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

It is normal to lose about 30-80 strands of hair in a day. The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Have more proteins and trace minerals like copper, zinc, selenium in diet. Start taking a hair nutrition supplement. Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. You take abhayaristha syrup 2spoon add 2spoon lukewarm water after lunch end 2spoon after dinner. Do arobic excersices, yoga. Take simple veg food with green vegitabales, salad, avoid too oily, ghee prepretion, spacy, fast, junck, food.

Hye, thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. The fat that you are carrying around was accumulated in years. So how can you expect to lose it in mere days. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: monday/thursday: chest + triceps tuesday/friday: back + biceps wednesday/saturday: legs + shoulders don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein.

Dear sir, divide total water and other liquid diet in 4_8 time. Just after meal taking water is not good. Of course tea is a liquid. But water intake also depends on weather and your personal requirements.

You take high calorie n high protein diet. Don't skip breakfast. With breakfast you drink 1 glass of milk n 2 anjeer n 2 almonds. Take 4-5 meals in a day in frequent intervals.

As per you height you need to gain 5 kgs more. I would suggest you to focus on your food choices & timings. Don't skip any meal. Avoid junk food. Help yourself by including more of nuts & dairy products in diet. Include high calorie snacks in between your main meals. Don't drink water before & after meals. Morover to gain healthy fat it's important to be in positive energy balance under the supervision of diet expert.

You should start going to gym. And if you are allergic to milk, there is no need to worry. There are plenty of other food stuff that can provide you nutrition. I would suggest you to go for non-veg food. And yes protein powders are safe if you are working out and take a branded powder.
