I have back pain from past 2 weeks. I had a pain killers but no use. Kindly suggest me some good tips.
Back pain is 'Apaan Vayu' vitiation as per Ayurveda and have been successfully relieved hundreds of times, without using pain killers tablets. In order to get sustainable relief postural stature of body, correct bed as per suitability, some foods to avoid vitiation of VATA and some herbals should be used. It will be gradually treated without side effects. However if there's is any spondylosis, intervertebral gaps reduction due to any reason, which may be ascertained by X-ray etc, proper physiotherapy/ Yoga etc should be done. Use of warm water to drink, to bath are relaxants. Some herbal oils those relax muscles, may be used. 'Dashmoola' i.e. 10 roots of herbs' preparations are of immense use. Pl write history and body nature to get ready made package from us

Bad Breath - 5 Reasons You Might Suffer From It And What Can You Do About It

Bad Breath - 5 Reasons You Might Suffer From It And What Can You Do About It
Bad breath isn't just an indication of what you eat. Apart from being a turn off for people who come in contact with you, it could also hint at health problems.

Here are 5 reasons that cause bad breath and ways to overcome the same.

1) Unhealthy Teeth And Gums - Most of the bad breath and halitosis problems result due to unhealthy teeth and gums. Basically, people who don't take care of their dental hygiene are prone to the problem.
Solution - Clean your teeth and rinse your mouth properly to get rid of the annoying rotten egg stench.

2) Lack Of Hydration - If you are not drinking enough water, you can have bad breath. Saliva washes away smell causing bacteria. But not having enough water will lead to lesser saliva, which will lead to dead and rotting cells that will stink.
Solution - Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water daily, at regular intervals.

3) Allergies - Nose and asthma related allergies are one of the leading causes of bad breath.
Solution - Make sure that you get rid of the allergies via proper care. Also, hydrate more when you have any allergy, like sinus problems or tonsil infection, it helps in clearing allergies out.

4) Eating the wrong stuff - Garlic, uncooked onion and too many spices can also lead to bad breath.
Solution - Use moderate spices and always rinse your mouth after each meal. Also, avoid foods that are high in sugar as they promote more bacteria.

5) Acid Reflux - If getting gaseous feeling in the pit of your stomach is a common problem for you, then you might have bad breath too. Heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux are common causes of bad breath.
Solution - Avoid foods that can cause a reflux and try light eating. It will take care of other health problems too.

A relationship with a girl is not a quiz. Hugs, kisses, and sex may all come about int he course of a healthy relationship but you cannot earmark a certain behavior or time it out. To really keep a relationship strong you must respect each other and never use pressure to manipulate anything. There must be love, commitment, obligation, trust, respect, and mutuality in everything that is said and done. You seemed to be focused too much on the physical aspects and that itself is holding the wrong end of the stick. You see, we are into relations all throughout our lives. Yet, for the least of reasons, when it comes to marriage we are ready to throw in the towel. I am glad that you are seeking to know how to keep the relationship strong and healthy. Yes, communication is important. But there are two important considerations that matter a lot before you take the plunge (if you do that is): compatibility and adjustability. The former is almost a fixed aspect of both of you and it includes education, language, communication, community, caste, religion, socio-economic status, personality etc. The more the similarity, the better. The second consideration, that of adjustability, is more important and plays a very important role to determine whether your relationship will remain healthy or not. If compatibility is good, less adjustability is required. But as in most cases, there will be some disparity, and this will tax adjustability considerably. If you are not able or willing to adjust, all hell will break lose. This is what you must examine while you are courting each other. Is s/he willing to make the adjustment around you, and are you able to and willing to adjust for the sake of the relationship. If you know there are stark difficulties, then better to close that prospect. Everything involves some aspect of culture eventually: for example, she may be used to going out with her friends for drinks often. Now if you cannot adjust with this, then this will be a definite area of conflict. There are too many possibilities and this space will not suffice to give elaborate responses. Both of you will generally act positively before marriage but soon after the nuptials one or both of you will tend to control the other and there lies the danger. So it is very difficult to determine the true nature of an individual at the onset. But it is worth the try. So test everything to be fully satisfied, and this is best achieved by good and open communication. For your information, there are three areas that stand out as contributing to divorce: sex, in-laws, and finances. Discuss these areas and get to know the other’s mindset. Better to be safe than sorry. I have a very important suggestion to give you if you are looking for a strong relationship to culminate in marriage: please seek premarital counseling where many of these facts will be explained and taught to both of you if you get a qualified counselor to do it.

I am 65, male suffering from too much of anxiety. The other day when I went to board a train to go to Guruvayur, someone stopped me and started enquiring about my journey, claiming to be policemen. They let me off, when my wife, who was coming far back, came and questioned as to what is going on. The duo said that there were bad elements, out to deceive passengers of their belongings and so they called me to warn me to be careful. After this I am afraid to going to the station to board any train. This kind of fear occurs often and I keep imagining about some bad situation, blow it out of proportion and make not only myself miserable but others around me. Several times I have been confronted by people in railway station, bus stand, etc. Like this and duped of money and valuable and this has left a deep impression leading to awful anxiety. How to overcome this?

Dear, these type of problem and negative thoughts are due to obsessive thoughts. Obsessive thoughts are common for everyone. But for everyone, these thoughts happen for a certain amount of time, say 24 hours. Then, they recover mainly because they get themselves busy in some other areas of their life. That is what you have to do. Get yourself engaged in some other areas of life. Take care.

How heroes get strong hair. Is there any treatment for like that for common man. Kindly suggest on same.
Heroes get strong hair with money. Most of them are bald, but they can get hair weaving/transplant easily. Common man can also go for it if you have that extra money to spend on hair in a good clinic. Well, good diet and healthy lifestyle definitely help but balding cannot be stopped if it is a genetic problem.

She is likely to have a condition called" obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome" here the person never gets adequate sleep in the night as the sleep cycle gets distorted. Mostly found in obese people. They fall asleep frequently during daytime which disturbs their routine. Snoring is no longer a laughable matter. It has been found those afflicted with osas are likely to suffer from heart ailments. High bp etc. An overnight sleep test will be needed to record her sleep pattern. This will be best done by a chest physician. C- pap machine which created positive pressure on inspired air will help better oxygenation. Consult the chest physician. She will definitely improve.

But my husband gets anger whenever I want to share things. As you rightly said communication matters but sometimes I do not understand what he tries to communicate when I ask him for the next time he gets anger on me and scolds me. Secondly he does not share anything with me he shares all good and bad to his mother only, which is quite hurting me. I feel that he does not know to balance between mother and wife. Moreover we do not have privacy to talk to each since my mother in law sleeps with us. It is just become routine come to office, go home work, take care of your kid, sleep and next day your routine begins. I seriously do not know whether he loves me or not. I do not know how to come out of this issue. Am getting depressed since I do not have a supporting hand at home. Please tell me how to go about it. I tend to forget many things nothing is getting registered in my mind. Sometimes I feel lonely frustrated and feel why am living on this earth. Please counsel me on this issue and how should I live.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
The important thing in communication is listening. So, if you are not listening with rapt attention, especially since he hardly used to communicate, then quite naturally he will get angry. If you are serious about wanting the communication, then pay close attention and pass some good and interesting remarks when he talks. Your MIL sleeping with you both is shocking. He may be a mama's boy and somehow you have to accommodate his sharing with her but not sharing the same bedroom. These things may be difficult to talk to him about and so I advise you to find a counselor and go and meet that person for his/her inputs. About doing so much of work, why don't yo get a maid and relieve yourself of a lot of housework. And as the children grow make them gradually handle a few responsibilities too. For further assistance, you need to go for what is called 'continupoous counseling'

Hiii sir I am suffering from hair fall please suggest some tips to control hair fall Thank you.
Start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc. Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking.

I am suffering from pcod from the past four years. I have consulted many doctors but didnt worked for me. Because of pcod i am loosing my skin tone, hairs and gained too much of weight.

MD - Internal Medicine
General Physician, Bangalore
Hi thanks for posting your query. Most important thing in pcod treatment is you need to lose weight. Else the medications will not be effective. In addition to ovacare forte I would recommend you to use metformin 500mg once a day daily. Also get serum insulin levels ( fasting and postprandial ) and serum dhea and serum tsh levels tested and revert back with reports.
