Hi lybrate-user, first you should increase your calories and protein intake, don't skip major meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), eat 6 meals in a day. For good muscle, eat high protein diet like chicken, fish,eggs, paneer, soyabean, sprouts, curd etc, eat peanut butter, dried fruits, shakes etc do workout for 30 min /day for increase appetite.

To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy and natural food + daily exercise..>> Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice..>>  Eat 20 almonds & 5 dates daily. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, banana shakes etc..>> If your are Non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish.  For Veg - have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc..>> Avoid junk food and colas. Hello For healthy weight gain your body & mind both should be healthy So Do the following 1) FOR MIND mental stability is important thing. Do meditations regularly. 2) for BODY Do not take market suppliments for body building. Do not eat fast food. Keep eating times regular. Do not eat late night. Do not eat too much spicy. Do not eat rice items in night. Take Sound sleep at night. Do not sleep during day. Do regular exercises. Early morning 30 mins walk is most important. Revert back if medicines needed.

Weight is not the issue. Calculate your BMI. It is calculated by formula Weight in kg/(height in meters) square.18.5 to 24.9 is normal. If it's below 18 then you are underweight and over 25 is over weight. Over 30 is obese..
