Type - 2 Diabetes can be easily managed with right food and you can get off-medication. You should stop consuming these things: 1. Milk products - milk and all kinds of milk products 2. Refined products - like white sugar, refined oil, refined wheat flour, Indian sweets and fried snacks 3. Packed foods - anything that is made in a factory like biscuits, bread, salty snacks, supplement powders etc. Just by doing this, you will observe great improvement in your sugar levels. Also you need to add: 1. 3 types of fruits in breakfast 2. 3 types of salad/veggies before lunch & dinner (not with meals but before meals)

Some tips for weight loss :- 1) Take atleast 3 to 4 meals in a day. 2) Maintain your meal timing and amount. 3) Use smaller plates. 4) Eat raw fruits and vegetables. 5) Take high fiber rich foods. 6) Avoid processed foods, packaging foods, bakery items. 7) Cut out salt and sugar. 8) Drink lots of water. 9) Try some smoothies. 10) Take proper sleep. Some simple exercise for weight loss :- 1) Walking 2) Cycling 3) Running 4) Push-up 5) Pull-up 6) Crunches 7) Squats.

Hi. Depends which Ligament tear you have. Till then you can start cycling and swimming which is very good even if you have a Ligament tear. Also, get your Ligament treated too.

Hii. Along with the brisk walking you need to follow a healthy balanced diet. No skipping of meal is allowed. Do not over eat at one time and do not have too much of gap between two meals. Include fiber rich foods such as fruits and vegetables, Multigrain flour, oats, etc. Avoid too much of sugar and fatty foods. Avoid fruit juices, have whole fruit instead. Hello Lybrate user, I would suggest you to follow a diet rich in proteins, eating proteins in every meal will help you boost metabolism as well as help you in weight loss. Along with this you also need to incorporate foods rich in fiber as this also helps you cut fat from the body and help you in weight reduction as well as improves digestion. Basically you need to cut down on calories from simple carbohydrate foods and consume calories from complex carbohydrate foods, proteins and fiber. Drink lots of water throughout the day helps in improving the metabolism and also cuts fat from the body ultimately leading to weight loss. Good luck!

Hi lybrate-user. Relax. We can fix it & yes you need to change your life style & diet pattern. Your BMI (body mass index) is 30 which is high.In diet break your meals in 6 times like 3 major meals break fast, lunch & dinner, two minor snacks & bed tea. Do not skip your breakfast. Avoid fried food, salt. Avoid simple carbohydrates like besan, maida, potato, sweets. Limit your rice & rooti intake. Add Salads & fruit in your daily diet. For probiotics take sour curd in your daily diet. At empty stomach take flax seeds as fat burner. Do brisk walk for 40 min at any time in a day. Thanks.

Hi, take 5 small meals rather than having 3 big meals, include 2 fruits and 3 serving of veg in a day in your diet, include milk and milk products like curd, paneer etc, have sufficient water, avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, avoid fried and junk food, restrict to 2-3 spoons of sugar in a day, salt intake must be moderate, avoid heavy meals at night, for further details feel free to contact.

Water is good for hydration, not for weight loss. Honey is just sugar, will add more calories to your daily intake, therefore avoid it. There's no shortcut to weight loss. Consume less, exercise more, eat more fruits and veggies. That's the only way to weight loss.

Hi there! Your total body weight seems normal or probably underweight (since your age is not mentioned). It is normal for women to have more fat around thights and arms. It is by constitution of being a female. The female hormones distribute body fat in such a fashion as deacribed by you. There is no need of concern. Hello lybrate-user, As you have already mentioned that you are already on high protein diet, I just want to add-on to it low carbs along with high protein (specially vegetable protein like pulses and legumes & beans) works better. Otherwise, it is a pretty well known fact that to reduce belly fat and buttocks one needs to increase physical activity that too the exercises that will effect the ab muscle and the thigh muscles, because the fat over buttocks and belly develops over a long period of time and to get rid of it the only way is exercise. To reduce belly fat you need to start up your day with a glass of lukewarm water. Increase your protein intake as well Include fibre in your diet, take good amount of green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Avoid eating junk food, refined cereals, packages, processes and fried food. Avoid all kind of sugary drinks included fruit juices. Indulge yourself in physical activities like yoga, running, brisk walking etc.
