To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Most of us have an emotional connection with food. Infact, we bond with others over food. When nothing works, we turn to food. Also when we feel low, we turn to food but end up eating junk food. Instead, why not eat exactly what will lift our mood and give us a boost?
Here are 5 such mood enhancing foods.

1) Chocolate - Of course! This is the favourite amongst most people and an instant stress buster. It is not just psychological, but scientifically proved as well. A study has shown that eating dark chocolate every day for a couple of weeks; actually reduced the stress hormones. The antioxidants in chocolate do this. Of course, this doesn't mean one eats chocolate all the time. Overdoing it will show on the waistline. What is advised is to eat a piece or two of chocolate when you need to feel good.

2) Vegetables and Fruits - Beans, citrus fruits and dark green vegetables have folate, a vitamin B which is known to lift the mood. Asparagus also has the ability to make you feel better by giving your body the nutrients it needs to be healthy and happy.

3) Fish - Fishes like salmon, trout, tuna etc have high omega-3 which while is essential for us, is not produced by our bodies. Omega-3 affects our brain’s chemicals which specifically deal with our mood swings. So a dose of Omega-3 is what is needed when your mood needs a boost. Alternatively, one can also have Omega-3 capsules which are easily available in the market.

20-30 mins walk or light exercise will help. You can go to a nearby park. Do a few stretches. Do a bit of walk. This will refresh you and it will not tire you. It will keep your mind fresh and energised. This is the best exercise for students. Also make sure you don't eat too much fried food, chips, namkeen, pickles or such food. Don't eat heavy food.

Hi, do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. Stop cycling, take rest for three days without weight bearing .start qudraceps exercise by sitting on a tall chair straight your knee for many times after your rest period. Make this exercise as a habit. Good luck.

Hai lybrate-user, decreased hemoglobin levels are due to many causes, extends from infection to chronic diseases. Firstly you can start with having healthy iron rich foods like- pomegranate, beetroot, jaggery, green leafy vegetables. And take iron tablet/syrup for a month, if your hemoglobin levels increases slightly, dn continue the same, if not you hav to undergo few tests to find out the proper cause. In case of females, excessive blood loss during periods is also a cause.

Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. And pranacharya sheetal syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Do pranayama early morning. Avoid alcohol consumption. Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3.
