I am aged 60 i am experiencing cervical spondylitis for the last three months. any advice would be helpful.?

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part.(cervical spine) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night. They also cause sleeplessness. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Do not take stress. Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind.

Hair fall is too much. When should I do?
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Hi. Hi Lybrate user … Pl. Do not depend on medicines only. Pl. Eat few these things for reducing fat. Apples: They are super foods that you can take three to four times a day as a substitute to carb-rich foods. Almonds: Rich in Vitamin E and has high fiber content that will make you feel full and reduce your hunger. Green Leafy Vegetables: They are rich in fiber and very low in calories. They will help in preventing water retention. Avocado: They are rich in high fiber and have high monounsaturated fatty acids that help in reducing belly fat. Cucumber: Cucumber is a vegetable that has high water content and is very low in calories. Watermelon: It is a fruit that has 80% water content in it and very few calories. They help in easily attaining desired waistline. Beans: This vegetable helps in improving digestion, as well as strengthening muscles. It will help in toning the belly by reducing hunger and prevent you from overeating. There are few good exercise for reducing belly fat. I. E. Crunches, Reverse Crunches, Twist Crunches, Vertical Leg Crunch, Side Crunches, Bicycle Exercise, Rolling Plank Exercise, Lunge Twist, Side To Side Bending, Stomach Vacuum, Captain’s Chair, Walking, Jogging, Running, Cardio Exercises, Swimming. Take sleep 8 hours per night helpful in health. Avoid spicy / oily meals / fatty meals. Avoid more non-veg. Avoid more alcohol. Avoid stress. Avoid constipation. Take also dalia in morning. Take salad, low fat meals, low calories meals, eat whole grain foods. Use rice bran oil for cocking foods.

I am suffering from sore throat from many months. Sometimes it feels clear but after eating lunch or dinner it becomes sore and little cough. I thought for checkup but I don't feel any problems, I mean I don't think about that much thats why it didn't catch my attention. I thought it's normal as sometimes I spit because of soaring I found small hair and thought that is the reason but it didn't cure it remains same like before. So please advice what I do now? Please do salt water gargles with little water. Do not try with too hot water. If you like, you can add 1 spoon honey to the gargles solution. Do not eat spicy food or fried items. Always brush 2 times a day.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

Laxmi vilas ras in tablet form is a good ayurvedic medicine for cold/cough due to season change you may try for your mother. You may also try koflet syp from himalaya drug company along with laxmivilas rasa.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. following medication and guidelines----Start the treatment with single dose of Tuberculinum 1M.After 1 week of this take the below:- * First week- you should take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *second week- take Thuja 1M,drops, single dose , morning empty stomach. *third week- Again take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *fourth week- take Thuja 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *Take Rite -hite tablets from SBL,2-2 tabs , two times daily. *Bio combination no. 21, 4 -4 tabs daily , two times. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. * plenty of fluids, frequent smaller meals, yoga and exercise regime and adequate sleep is also important. Take a healthy and balanced diet. *Do yoga (especially TADASAN) and stretching exercises. *Revert after 1 month.

Hi. Everyone has some belly fat, even people who have flat abs. That's normal. But too much belly fat can affect your health in a way that other fat doesn't. There are four keys to controlling belly fat: exercise, diet, sleep, and stress management. 1. Exercise: vigorous exercise trims all your fat, including visceral fat. Get at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 5 days a week. Walking counts, as long as it's brisk enough that you work up a sweat and breathe harder, with your heart rate faster than usual. 2. Diet: there is no magic diet for belly fat. But when you lose weight on any diet, belly fat usually goes first. 3. Sleep: getting the right amount of shut-eye helps. In one study, people who got 6 to 7 hours of sleep per night gained less visceral fat over 5 years compared to those who slept 5 or fewer hours per night or 8 or more hours per night. Sleep may not have been the only thing that mattered -- but it was part of the picture. 4. Stress: everyone has stress. How you handle it matters. The best things you can do include relaxing with friends and family, meditating, exercising to blow off steam, and getting counseling. That leaves you healthier and better prepared to make good choices for yourself. Medication: 1. Regularly do massage with utsadana powder for 10-15 mins before bath will helps to mreduce the belly fat.

My LMP was 09/08/16. I have done a home pregnancy check on 35th day of my missed period. Got a faint positive line, I have consulted a gynecologist on the same day and she have done blood test for beta hcg level. It came out positive with 658mlul. Before my pregnancy I was having mcbm69 tablet for a healthy conception. When I consulted this gynecologist she have suggested me a tablet named ME12 OD. I am still using it. My first ultrasound scan was at 26th of step 2016. It was a vaginal scan. As per my LMP, EGA is 7 weeks but the result shows it as follows The uterus is retroverted and has a gestational sac measuring 1.5 cm corresponding to 5 weeks 5 days. Yolk sac is seen, fetal pole not yet seen, decidual reaction is good. Ovaries are normal sized. A corpus luteum cyst of 1.8 cm is seen in the right ovary. Impression: Early intrauterine gestation of 5 weeks. Suggested follow up after 10 days to assess fetal viability and dating. From next day of my first scan I have got some coffee brown color discharge. It was lasted 9 days. After that I have white or light yellow color discharge. Actually my Dr. was suggested me a follow up scan on 21st of this month. But yesterday also I had the same discharge. So I went to my Dr. and she have done a scan. The result is below Uterus enlarged shows a single gestational sac which measures- 2.3 cms. Single yolk sac seen - 0.6 cms. Cardiac activity not present. Both ovaries appears normal. Decidual reaction is present. Cervix normal measures - 3.4 x 2.6 cms. Impression: intrauterine gestation of 6 weeks with no cardiac activity. Suggested clinical correlation. After my first scan my Dr. said that its normal and it may be a late conception that's y there is a difference in the weeks. Yesterday she said that its not growing and there is no heartbeat or blood circulation. So I have to wait for one week and after that they will do a scan again and if its in the same situation I have to do ?

Yours seem a delayed implantation only ... its correct wait for 1 wk and if there is no growth ... then better to go for medical termination
