Hello lybrate user first of all I want to thank you that you analysed your body symptoms properly and decided to change the lifestyle. Truly speaking all the problems you are facing are because of unhealthy lifestyle. As well as you need detoxification of body that is panchakarm of body. I will explain this with one example if milk in the vessel is putrified simply throwing of milk and addiing new milk to that vessel will not solve issue. Because fresh milk may also gets putrified as it is in contact with dirty vessel. Likewise adoption of new lifestyle to toxified body will not solve the problem completely, you need to detox body with panchakarma.

Heartburn, Gas & Indigestion - Quick Steps That Can Help You Recover!

Feeling bloated or acidic after a heavy meal can take away all the satisfaction the taste of food gave you. Indigestion and gas are some of the most common gastrointestinal problems faced by people around the world. In most cases, indigestion is a result of bad food choices and an unhealthy lifestyle. Heartburn is a not a condition of the heart, but a condition of the digestive system and to reduce its frequency, it is very important to drink and eat the right food. All three conditions, gas, heartburn and indigestion, can be relieved at home and do not necessarily require too much medication. Here are 4 easy steps that could help relieve heartburn, gas and indigestion.

The 4 steps to lower heartburn, gas and indigestion
Include More Fiber in the Diet: It is very important for a healthy digestion to include more fiber in the diet. Intake of fiber makes the digestion process simple and helps to push out the waste from the system. The system is detoxified by adding more fiber to your food and it also helps in preventingconditions such as heart disease, diabetes and hemorrhoids.

Fiber can be added to your food in the form of fruits, cereals, whole grains, nuts, vegetables and plenty of water. It is very important for men to have about 25g of fiber per day.

  1. Eat healthy food: It is very important that you chew your food well for proper functioning of the digestive system. The functioning of the stomach can be improved by eating smaller portions of food. It is best to avoid foods that are difficult to digest and it is also imperative that food must be consumed 1 hour before going to bed. Indigestion can be caused if you lie down immediately after eating food.
  2. Intake of spicy food must be reduced: To reduce the frequency of heartburn it is very important that you reduce the intake of spicy food. It is possible to get relief from heartburn by avoiding spicy foods. Foods rich in probiotics can be supplemented as these help in better digestion.
  3. Exercise regularly: Regular exercise is very essential for the fitness of the body and that includes a healthy digestion. The main benefit of exercising regularly is that it helps to fight stress which is the main cause of digestive problems such as indigestion. The passage of gas in the digestive system can be regulated by taking a walk after your meal. There are many benefits that can be gained by regular exercising such as the prevention of bloating, constipation, gaseous build up and even heartburn. Exercises such as swimming, cycling and yoga will have a positive impact on your digestive system and overall health.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

This is good for daily monitoring only and not for diagnosis. Diabetes affects all organs in the body – Eyes, kidneys, nerves, reproductive system all are affected, In fact, from toe to hair. For diabetic control, patient and doctor should be in constant touch for regular follow up and advice. The common symptoms are :-Both types of diabetes have some of the same tell-tale warning signs. Hunger and fatigue. Your body converts the food you eat into glucose that your cells use for energy. But your cells need insulin to bring the glucose in. If your body doesn't make enough or any insulin, or if your cells resist the insulin your body makes, the glucose can't get into them and you have no energy. This can make you more hungry and tired than usual. Urinating more often and being thirstier. The average person usually has to pee between four and seven times in 24 hours, but people with diabetes may go a lot more. Dry mouth and itchy skin. Because your body is using fluids to make pee, there's less moisture for other things. You could get dehydrated, and your mouth may feel dry. Dry skin can make you itchy. Blurred vision. Changing fluid levels in your body could make the lenses in your eyes swell up. They change shape and lose their ability to focus. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance. If you keep in touch personally. By consulting on this site.

For scalp psoriaisis, you could use a coal tar+salicylic acid based shampoo, thrice weekly for 2-4 weeks. Topical steroid+saicylic acid based lotion can be used for the thick scaly patches of psoriasis fr 2-4 weeks Since steroids are usually avoided over long term therefore once the patches are significantly improved, you may switch to topical Vit D analogues e.g Calcipotriol, calcipotriene solution. These are all prescription medicines, therefore I would suggest that you see a dermatologist before trying them Regards.
