Hello Lybrate user. The sudden blisters has to be treated soon. First I advice you to consult a general physician regarding sudden swelling in the lips. It can occur due to allergy or severe diabetics. Diabetics makes periodontal complications. So I advice you to check the diabetic level and consult a diabetologist. Then if there is no allergic reaction and the diabetic is normal means, then apply coconut oil in the swelling area in lips. Then apply dentogel ointment topically in the gums a small pea size for ten mins and then wash it. Do it for three times a day for five days. Then take an orthopantamogram and check for any dental caries or periodontitis. Consult me for further details. Thank you.
