Hello, Thanks for the query. Both FBG & PP are with in normal range. But HbA1c% is showing the diabetic value. Following are the values for diagnosis : 1)Normal : FBG 70 to 100 mg, PP < 140 mg, HbA1c% < 5.7%. 2)Pre-diabetic : FBG 101 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg & HbA1c% 5.7% to 6.4% 3)Diabetes : FBG 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c% 6.5% and above. You appear to be on the border line. Another important aspect is your weight with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 27.9 2 kgs/Sq meter (Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter). So you have an excess of over 13 kgs. This is an invitation to diabetes. Particularly if your parents or siblings are having diabetes. So please give a serious look at your lifestyle, which includes diet, exercise and weight control plus things like avoiding alcohol and smoking, junk foods etc. Thanks.Â
