Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the query. Whichever insulin one may take there is no need to take any form of "glucose" to avoid "hypoglycemia" because if you are taking properly calculated insulin dosage then there will be no hypoglycemia. But if it does occur then taking a small amount of sugar or a candy can help overcome the same. The insulin dosage needs to be based on both fasting and pp glucose levels. Plus when fasting level is above 140 mg, then your night dosage needs to be increased by 2 units & similarly if pp is higher than 180 mg then pre-lunch or pre-dinner dosage needs to be increased by 2 units. Similarly if fasting glucose is < 100 mg then night dosage has to be reduced by 2 units and if pp is < 140 mg then ore-lunch or pre dinner dosage needs to be reduced by 2 units. However, dosage reduction or increase has to be done only once in 3 to 4 days. But checking needs to be done more often. If you have any questions please do come back. Another very important issue is that you have almost grade 3 or morbid obesity with a bmi of 39.72 kg/sq meter, normal < 23 kg/sq meter). Hence there is an excess of over 50 kg weight. Therefore, even if you are able to cut 10 to 15 kg your glucose levels will become well controlled. Thanks.

Greetings from ortho clinic, a diabetic diet in india is similar to a healthy balanced diet recommended for individuals with diabetes worldwide. The key principles of a diabetic diet involve managing carbohydrate intake, incorporating a variety of foods, controlling portion sizes, and promoting regular physical activity. Here are some general guidelines for a diabetic diet in india: 1. Carbohydrate management: - opt for complex carbohydrates such as whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat, millets), legumes, and vegetables. - limit the intake of refined carbohydrates like white rice, white bread, sugary drinks, and sweets. - monitor the quantity of carbohydrates consumed and distribute them evenly throughout the day. 2. Portion control: - control portion sizes to maintain a healthy weight and manage blood sugar levels. - use measuring cups, spoons, or a food scale to accurately measure portions. - include a variety of foods from different food groups to ensure a balanced diet. 3. Emphasize fiber-rich foods: - consume high-fiber foods such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and nuts. - fiber helps regulate blood sugar levels, improves digestion, and provides a feeling of fullness. 4. Healthy fat choices: - choose healthier sources of fats like nuts, seeds, avocados, olive oil, and fatty fish (such as salmon) rich in omega-3 fatty acids. - limit saturated fats found in red meat, full-fat dairy products, and fried foods. 5. Include lean proteins: - include lean protein sources such as skinless chicken, turkey, fish, low-fat dairy products, tofu, and legumes. - protein helps in building and repairing tissues, and it doesn't significantly impact blood sugar levels. 6. Limit added sugars and sugary drinks: - minimize the consumption of sugary foods, desserts, sweets, and beverages. - opt for naturally sweet foods like fruits and limit the intake of fruit juices. 7. Regular physical activity: - engage in regular exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, cycling, or any activity recommended by your healthcare provider. - physical activity helps in improving insulin sensitivity and managing blood sugar levels. It's important to note that these are general guidelines, and it's advisable to work with a registered dietitian or a healthcare professional to create a personalized diabetic diet plan based on your specific needs, preferences, and any other health conditions you may have. They can provide you with detailed guidance and help you make appropriate dietary adjustments. Please contact whats app mobile for free dietary reversal for diabetes.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. From the information given it is clear that she has uncontrolled blood glucose (hba1c%11.9%) & high fasting glucose. The condition is t2 diabetes. Usually when hba1c% goes beyond 9% on detection, a doctors advise insulin initially for a period of 3 to 4 months along with some oral antidiabetics. Once glucose levels are brought in good control, then patient can be shifted to only oral drugs. As regards dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), that will get corrected with appropriate treatment and diabetes control. From the query I am not able to place where are you based. According to me there is no reason to do any other tests. Priority is to get her glucose levels under control. Since this is an open question, here we are supposed to give only general advise. No drugs can be prescribed or recommended. If you want any specific help in terms of treatment (changing medication and other specific instructions) you will have to come in a private conversation so that I will be able guide. Please do get worried. The levels are quite high and will come down with treatment. She can be controlled with oral drugs later. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.

Hello The ovaries normally produce female sex hormones and a small amount of male sex hormones (androgens). These help in the proper development of eggs in the ovaries during each menstrual cycle. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is connected to an imbalance in these sex hormones. PCOD causes production of more androgens. Patients stop ovulating, develop acne, and develop excess facial and body hair due to this. Insulin levels in women with PCOD are frequently reported to be higher than usual. Weight loss can be achieved by avoiding starchy and sugary meals. Some advice for you : 1 . Meals with a low GI are digested more slowly by the body, which means they do not cause insulin levels to rise as much or as quickly as foods with a higher GI, such as some carbs. A low GI diet includes whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, fruits, non starchy vegetables, and other unprocessed, low-carbohydrate foods. 2.Anti-inflammatory foods: This includes berries, fatty salmon, leafy greens, and extra virgin olive oil, which may help to alleviate inflammation-related symptoms . Take homeopathic treatment for good result . Take care dear.
