Once a child is diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome the first line of medicines to be started for the child is omnacortil that is a steroid. Nephrotic syndrome may relapse till 15 years of age and sometimes about that. It is very important for the parents to support the child during this phase. As the medicine omnacortil that is going on has got advantages for nephrotic syndrome and disadvantages as side effects. If nephrotic syndrome is not controlled with the help of omnacortil then we have to go for other medicines to control it.
