Hello. First of all, -4.5 dioptre of refractory error (glasses) do not result from excessive computer work. It is just simple myopia. Yes you can go for lasik or other more advanced similar laser procedures. No need to worry. After surgery eye sight will not be affected due to your longer screen time of 10-12 hours. But you will have some dry eye problem after lasik, so you will have to take more care due to your job profile. Certain drops post surgery along with certain eye exercises, intermittent rest and frequent blinking will help you for the same. You can reach me out anytime for any query relating to surgery and for discussing your concerns in detail. Hope this helps. Thank you.

A cone-shaped cornea causes blurred vision and may cause sensitivity to light and glare. Keratoconus usually affects both eyes and generally begins to first affect people ages 10 to 25. The condition may progress slowly for 10 years or longer. In the early stages of keratoconus, you can correct vision problems with glasses or soft contact lenses. Later, you may have to be fitted with rigid, gas permeable contact lenses or other types of lenses. If your condition progresses to an advanced stage, you may need a cornea transplant.

Eye sight Here is a good protocol that I follow to improve eyesight for children successfully: - stop watching TV, too close to it, especially if the screen is large - no cell phone (the light from the screen and RF radiation oxidizes them and is very damaging to the eyes). Laptop and tablets only if needed. - Calc Phos 30, every other day, four pellets in the morning to improve calcium assimilation. Children need more calcium and this is frequently the underlying cause. You can make it every 4th day after 3 or 4 doses. Give Fish Oil, if it completely agrees. If there is any discomfort after the tablet, do not continue. If they agree, continue for a few months. Please report after 2 months. For adults, the original protocol or even simply, Ruta 6 and Calc Phos 3xalternately helps. Advise to take Physostigma 30 daily one dose early in the morning and Ruta 10M weekly one dose i.e. Every sunday and stop other medicine on this da5y. Ask me in private so dat we can discuss in better manner and also you wil improve Also we can change d medicine.
