Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the query. Madam blood glucose level 120 mg does not need any treatment at all. It is better if you get an after food (2 hours after taking breakfast or lunch) glucose level, because if that is higher than 200 mg mg (fasting > 126 mg) then only treatment is required. Another important aspect is your excessive weight. Because your present BMI (Body Mass Index) is 43.33 kgs /Sq meter(Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter). Which means you are in very morbid (very severe) obesity. There is an excess of over 48 kgs. This is the main culprit for showing high glucose level. So if you decide and take steps to even reduce 5 to 10 kgs over a period of next few months your glucose level will come down without needing any medicine. I hope you understand what I am saying. So please think seriously and work on that aspect. Thanks.

Your post meal blood sugar is on the higher side. To confirm whether you have diabetes or pre diabetes, please do ogtt and hba1c in the lab. In that glucose is given to you in the fasting in the morning and blood sugar is tested every half an hour for 2 hours. If you have 2 hours blood sugar, post glucose, is more than 200, then even if the reversal is not possible, sugar can be kept under control with diet and exercise alone without medication. Take care. Periodic follow up is necessary.
