Combo test is pretty accurate after 2 -3 weeks of exposure. Though we do recommend a test repeat after 3 months as most antibody form after 3 months but it is false to say no test can detect hiv before 3 months. It your initial day 3 and 1 month test is negative there are very less chance of 3 month test being positive. Initial symptoms of hiv are flu like illness and they are non specific do contact me for further diagnosis and treatment or if you still have some doubts you want to clear.

I understand your concern about the swollen and painful area under your left jawline. While I can't provide a definitive diagnosis without a physical examination, I can offer some information and advice that may help: swollen lymph nodes: it's likely that the lump under your jaw is a swollen lymph node. Lymph nodes are part of your immune system and can swell in response to various causes, including infections, allergies, and sometimes, more serious conditions. Swollen lymph nodes due to common infections like the cold or flu usually resolve on their own within a few weeks. However, if the swelling persists for more than two weeks, grows rapidly, becomes hard and fixed, or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms like fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss, it's crucial to see a doctor for further evaluation. Gum pain: the pain in your gums while brushing on the lower left jaw could be related to the swollen lymph node, possibly due to inflammation in the surrounding tissues. It could also be a sign of gum disease, a cavity, or another dental issue. If the gum pain persists or worsens, it's essential to schedule an appointment with your dentist for a checkup. Life-threatening: while it's always good to be cautious, it's unlikely that your swollen lymph node is life-threatening, especially given that you haven't experienced any other significant symptoms. Recommendations: monitor the swelling: observe if the lump grows or changes in texture, and take note of any new symptoms like fever, night sweats, or difficulty swallowing. Warm compress: apply a warm compress to the area for 15-20 minutes several times a day to help reduce inflammation and discomfort. Practice good oral hygiene: maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice daily and flossing regularly. This can help reduce gum inflammation and prevent potential dental issues. See a doctor: if the swelling doesn't improve within a few weeks, grows rapidly, becomes hard and fixed, or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms, consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment. See a dentist: schedule an appointment with your dentist to assess the gum pain and rule out any dental issues. Remember, I am not a medical professional and this information should not be taken as a substitute for professional medical advice. It's important to seek proper medical attention for accurate diagnosis and treatment. I hope this information is helpful and puts your mind at ease. Please feel free to ask any further questions you may have.

Good evening lybrate-user ji. Any person who is infected with hiv can be diagnosed after 21-28 days of exposure with a simple antibody test. In people who are hiv infected, all most all of them will be diagnosed with in 3 months and virtually all of them by 6 months. So in your case, as of now you are free from hiv but I advice you to repeat one last time after 180 days of exposure. 4th generation duo combo kits are well advanced and they are being used in all blood banks to test donated blood for immediate result of hiv status. The swolen lymphnodes on neck and armpit you have mentioned are may be due to other sti like syphilis etc. And flu maybe due to your partner's airway infection. Your physician might got tested you with vdrl test which will ruleout the status of syphilis of which the reports you have not provided. Hence I request you to stay calm and get treatment for all other complications and please get tested for hiv one last time after 180 mdays since exposure. I have more than 10 years experience treating hiv disease and please contact if you still need further assistance.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Burning eyes can potentially be a sign of covid-19, but it's relatively uncommon. It's unlikely that burning eyes without flu-like symptoms is caused by covid-19. If you don't have a fever or other typical symptoms of covid-19, it's more likely that you're dealing with allergies or another eye issue. 1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink hot liquids --hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head-- elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat that stuffy nose with warm salt water-- salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow your nose often (and the right way)-- it's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results. Consult online for details.
