Hello It is always advisable to get your crown placed on the Root canal treated tooth soon as post RCT the tooth becomes brittle and chances of it getting fractured increases. Its suggested that you should get your crown done soon to avoid any complication later. Regards.

Hello, As such there should be any problem till you wait for november to come but the root canal filling also depend on the material with which they have done, at times you tend to break the filling unknowingly so its my opinion to have a capping done with that tooth as soon as possible. THANK YOU

Yes there should not be any problem provided the tooth structure is the same at the time when it was prepared for the crown.

Dear lybrate-user Its not usually adviced to have such long gap as the tooth gets brittle. Weak. So, if you can afford and money is not a problem, please get the cap at the earliest at a private clinic.

Please go ahead and get a crown at the earliest. Post RCT treatment the tooth is brittle and does not have a nutrient supply owing to which it is likely to crack, post which the whole purpose of getting a root canal procedure is lost. If your tooth cracks depending on the extent of breakage you might be asked to get the tooth extracted. Also you need to check if a core build up has been done prior to getting a crown fixed. Make sure your crown is at least porcelain with metal (with full porcelain coverage) and not a metal or partial porcelain crown.
