Can just high Uric acid level (9.5 was mine) determine that I have Gout. My doctor has put me on a Gout diet now and gave me tabs to reduce the uric acid level. I went to him today because I have pain at the bottom of my foot where the little toe and the next toe meets the ball of the foot. I am able to walk but have pain when I touch and keep my right foot down completely. Is this Gout? My X-ray is normal. Please advice me.
