Doing rct usually resolves pain. If there is a pain in the rct treated tooth, it may be due to improper treatment, fractured filling or teeth.

A tooth after RCT is prone to fracture, sensitivity and pain if a cap is not put before one month after treatment. SO most probably your pain is because of that. You can take an Xray and confirm and then do the treatment again if necessary. And then wear a cap on top. Please visit a good dentist.

It may be due to that whether root canal procedures cannot be done properly and other due to long periods to place the crown after rct.
