Hello doctor, I am 25 years female. I have PCOD from last 5-6 yrs. I have taken medicine (3 cycles) several Times to regularise my periods. This time it has been 6 months since I got my last period. I have started taking primolut N twice day to get my periods .Is this dosage correct? Should I continue this dose for 5 days?

Hi Yes, it is correct dose. Take it for 5 days and stop. Also you should investigate about the reason behind these hormonal changes and take second line treatment if previous one didn't help. You should also do life style changes.

you have to take something for the insulin resistance which is the basic cause of PCOD.At least 4 periods in a year are required to keep the system normal.You could be having a cyst in the ovary,get an U/S lower abdomen done and consult online.
