Nail infections are very slow to respond to treatment because the nail matrix does not have much supply of blood and local application or systemic medicines fail to reach the inner parts of the nail and it may take much more time to get away. You have to continue your medicines patiently. At the most some oral medicines acting against nail fungus can be added but for that you have to consult separately.
