I have been using minoxidil 5% solution for three years for hair loss. Recently my doctor prescribed me minoxidil 10% lotion which is not approved as far I know and also gave me minoxidil oral tablets along with it. I am scared to take so much minoxidil together fearing side effects. What should I do?

Minoxidil is quite safe to use and has to be used continuously for at least six months for an effective hair growth. You can continue it lifelong or as long as you desire hair growth. This has to be applied 1 mL each in the morning and evening only to affected areas.
