Recently I was suffering under a skin condition known as scabies. Consulted a doctor at Manipal hospital and took treatment. Initial symptoms started from my scrotum, then penis after that near genital areas like thighs and gradually around my arms and wrist. I was prescribed medicines by the doctor that is, ivermetol (6 mg, weekly one tablet for 2 weeks), atarax tablet (25 mg, every night before sleep for 12 days), wysolone tablet (5 mg, 3 times a day for 12 days) nd applied fucibet cream topically over spots which were larger as per doctor saying. I got healed gradually from the symptoms and that horrible itchiness from this symptom. Then again consulted the doctor and gave him feedback as it was gradually reducing. Then he told me gradually we will be decrease the tablets consumption upto a week to 10 days, and he asked to decrease the dosage of tablets gradually and I did. Now I'm alright but the bumps on my penis and scrotum had not gone yet, and Im out of station in a training and I'm unable to visit the doctor. I still apply that fucibet cream daily once but still I do not see much changes and very minute itchiness comes when applying the cream on my penis and scrotum. There are also the left over spots from scabies which were on left thighs and arms. Kindly suggest me.
