I am 42 years old lady, mother of 9 years old son. I am a full time employer of an organisation. I suffer very much on mood swing. In a day most of the time I feel sad and in very much trifle matter tears come out from my eyes. I think it is a sign of depression. Please help me how to get rid of this situation.

It sounds like depression, alright. If the reason is the job, you could somewhat easily solve that problem by getting a better job; better being a relative term. But I think, and you and I know, that that will not solve your depression. The job becomes an excuse or easy enough reason to blame the depression on. There must be more compelling reasons that you are depressed: I think there must be emotional reasons for the depression. My assessment will be that it is probably due to unexpressed sadness. Does that ring a bell? Now the other problem is that you have probably not been working with a counselor. This is such a sad and repeated failure on our part to see the importance of counseling in recovery from all kinds of disturbances. Medication will set the chemical equation right but it does not impart any skills and teach you any methods of facing life’s problems. That is why it is important to combine medication with therapy to get you the best results. It is still not too late. Through counseling you could know how the medication works, what kind of support aids its effectiveness and, if and when medication needs to be discontinued, you would have learned some coping mechanisms to relate to life’s challenges, which are regularly there badgering every one of us, somewhat equally.

Yes it is sign of depression. But you have chance to overcome yourself. Sad thoughts comes means you are thinking internally so many problems. May be family problems or work problems. Whatever it may be but you are thinking too much about it. Because of your internal thinking process. Externally mood swings time to time and sad thoughts also. That means you are not share your internal thoughts to any other person or friends or family members. Always thinking yourself. But it is not good to your health. Because of secrecy nature. You are suffering with psychological problems. If you want you should overcome it. So better to share your internal feelings with your close friends and family members. Do not be alone.
