Sir I am 26, male. I have developed epidydimoorchitis 2 years back and is cured. Recently I got intense pain after masturbation and consulted doctor. Scan shows bilateral hydrocele. My urologist put me on antibiotics viz levoflox, chymoral plus and flotral. He is suggesting to masturbate on alternate days to get rid of infection. I am confused as sometimes erection for long is causing the pain. So is it advisable to do masturbation when on antibiotics?(now I am on week 4 of antibiotics but pain is no longer there).

Dear patient, firstly, masturbation is not a contraindication with antibiotics therapy. Secondly, antibiotics therapy is not required so long (4 weeks of antibiotics is not at all advisable). Thirdly, use (wear) tight underwear all the time so as to have no pain in testis in future. Thank you.
